Its a tough card to GEM so there is a premium on 10's. But the print run is ~3,790 so its not that short printed compared to many other RC cards.

Surprised to see Aaron Judge so low on the list.

Ohtani being so high makes sense, as his card prices have shot up over the last year.

Ohtani has global demand while Judge has domestic demand. It appears to make a huge difference.

Ohtani has a market of his own - much like Jordan. Excited to see it.

Surprised to see Mantle over Judge but I guess it makes sense given high grade vintage and the premium associated with Mantle.

That list also exposes the risk and mentality of modern football collecting (J Daniels > T Brady/Mahomes). Gonna be some bag holders on that one!

Does anyone on here think that buying Ohtani now is buying at the peak? I am sure those paying 3k for Mike Trout US175 during covid didn't think they were buying at the peak.

My personal opinion is that the Ohtani RC market is a long way from peak based on this off season demand.

You can buy more cards you want if you buy a Mike Trout US175 PSA10 at current prices (~800), then if you buy at 3k during covid. At least thats how I think about it!!!

So if you want to buy cards at lower prices so you can buy more cards you are an investor?

Not sure how I am an investor since I buy a ton of Ohtani cards (mainly raw), that I don't grade and rarely sell. If I am an investor I am doing a terrible job making money in the hobby.

How many WS wins does MT have? What about 50/50 seasons? What about a dominant pitcher as well.

IF…IF…IF Ohtani can keep this up for a few more years, he will supplant MJ
