Why swing at 2-0 2 innings in a row.

At least they advanced the runner.something that would’ve won the game for the Yankees

Marvin a lefty stood a better chance of advancing the runner.

He didn’t swing and somehow I knew it would be called a strike.

I don’t think he did but they went so out of their way to give this game away mostly Trevino swinging on 2-0 with the bases loaded nobody out, take at least 1 strike in that situation and then he couldn’t keep the ball close enough allowing Bradley to score. Gleyber swinging 2-0 I swear sometimes they need to give these guys the take sign they would’ve walked in the winning run, my other question is where was carpenter on that wild throw to 3rd in the 9th should’ve sent him and forced a throw at worst IKF would’ve been on third with one out force a throw for goodness sake.

Soto rejects major offer, let the craziness ensue.......

Let's offer

Jaason Dominguez
Joey Gallo
Oswald Peraza
Clarke Schmidt
Trey Sweeney
anyone on the Top Prospect list #d 11-30 (MLB rankings)
Season passes to the Bronx Zoo
Lifetime supply of Nathan's Hot Dogs
Naming rights to the first born child of every Yankees' player

I can't believe Boone came close to calling out his players. After the game he said, “We should have won that game -- we had our chances”.

He should have said, "We had every chance to win the game but we threw it away. No one stepped up".

All I can say is this past 12 game stretch is what they can blame for losing home field advantage in the playoffs.

I don't think it really matters. They aren't going to beat Houston, IMO, anyways.

Out of those 3 Devers lefty bat would be nice in Yankee stadium a hell of a lot better than Donaldson at third. If the Red Sox are stupid enough to not resign him they deserve to be a bottom feeder.

Whoever gets him needs to put him at DH. He's better in the field but still too much of a liability!

Wow Cubs and Mets 1-1 man on third no one out in the tenth for the Cubs, there were 2 strikes on the batter when 3rd base was stolen struck out on a3-2 count next batter struck out on 4 pitches great play at 3rd and first to get the game to the 11th. Just pointing this out to show it’s not only the Yankees who don’t know how to situational hit.

How do you measure that "liability"? Since 2019 Devers has been exactly average for MLB 3B at defensive value add. 17 better, 18 worse.
