That Brunson injury killed it. I mean, they still played like sh the entire 4th quarter and most of OT, but they are a lost cause without him.

KAT once again every bit of a feline when the game was on the line. Charmin soft.

That looked a bad ankle roll.

Not good.

KAT is painful. The Knicks looked great for 3 quarters. What happened to Mikal? Shell of himself.

Definitely a nice number to get on the Lakers at home. They are only going to get better from here still.

The most inexplicable trade in American sports history. There isn't a single above average basketball mind that would approve this trade on the Dallas end so how could it have possibly happened?
Because Nico hated the chubby white kid. Racism will make you do stupid things.

More like favoritism. Ratings down. Nothing moving the needle. Even with two team playing great ball. So why not gift the biggest fanbase to gen up some competition? I mean, who else knew Luka was even on the block?

Pop called it out in the Gasol trade and refused to send Kawhi for that reason

Stephen A Smith getting a personal F around and find out from Lebron.. love to see it

Say what you will about him as a player or person..it's about damn time someone stood up in person to someone on social media/tv who think they can run their mouth about everything and call themselves "analysts"

Same goes for Barkleys rant on Perkins and ESPN..loved it

The Barkley rant would fit here as well.....

Most the people around here complaining that the league is boring these days, while about 5 of us are enjoying the hell out of historic seasons by the Cavs and Thunder

I'm 100% with Chuck on his Lakers rant.

They've been playing great for the last month/two months but OKC and the Cavs have been playing better than that all season and don't get even 10% of the noise.

The Lakers current stretch (best of their season) has them at 18-3 with a 10.8 MOV. OKC and Cleveland's AVERAGE for the season is higher than that.

Even more hilarious...Stephen A basically made his argument for him, thinking he was being smart...

Saying they cover those teams so much, is because that's what the people tune in for and want to hear about...it's what drives ratings for them

Also..he said he had to talk Perkins down cuz he was ready to fight..

Well..shouldn't have said something idiotic like the Lakers saved the NBA season lol

The playoffs might end up being a battle between the teams the casuals want (Lakers and Celtics) and the teams that real NBA fans want (Thunder and Cavs).

Lakers are still a tier under those top 3, but I don't see many other darkhorse teams besides the Nuggets, Kincks, and Bucks... and both those teams have some glaring issues.

The only dark horses for me are Lakers, Warriors and Nuggets, in that order.

It's insane to me that Cleveland has the best record in the league, a historical point differential, more than enough playoff experience and got better at the trade deadline...and the favorite to win the title is the other contender in their conference.

Not to say they should be favored above the Celtics but it should be way closer than it is right now.

I don't consider the Bucks a championship contenders, but I could see a world in which if things go right for them, they could be a handful for the Cavs in the second round. Giannis and Dame are better than Mobley and Mitchell. If we saw a series where the Cleveland supporting cast just didn't show up (as happens from time to time in the playoffs), it could end up closer than I'd like to see.

It’s a testament to how unserious the regular season is viewed by literally everyone, but especially the betting public.

I don't think it's a huge surprise. Celtics are the defending champs with a largely unchanged roster. They've also dominated the EC for the past half decade+, so the experience advantage is off the charts.

I think Cleveland offers some great value right now but I wouldn't go crazy on them. I believe a theoretical series would go 7...very close. Rosters are tightly matched but the experience factor could be huge in this potential scenario...Cleveland may be a year removed from truly reaching their potential as a unit (similar to OKC last year). But anything's possible.

I think from a basketball perspective, it's a pick em in a series.... but vegas would never give the Cavs the benefit of the doubt. It's always the incumbent.

We saw the same thing the year after Denver won their title

1q overs in Denver games has been a cheatcode money printer all year.

The pace and intensity they play with those first 12 is ridic.

OKC didn't have their top 4 players and two other rotation pieces and still won by almost 20. No other team in the league can do that.

I want to put Denver in the "could make some noise in the playoffs" category, but they make it tough.

Are the announcers regarded?

It's Braun, not Brown.
