I used to, but not so much anymore. I do have a 27 World Series Championship hat that I never wear.

Home. It's cheaper and I don't have to drive.

Personally, I would never consider buying any playoff gear for a team unless it was WS Champs branded.

Only exception is if I went to a game and wanted to remember the night.

I don’t go to the bars in Mississippi I prefer to watch at home. But when I lived in New York I liked going to the bars. There was one bar that was my good luck where the Yankees and Rangers usually won when I went there. My wife went to the casino with my mother in 1993/94 on the night of game 7 of the Stanley Cup. I went to my old stomping ground the Swiss Chalet and the Rangers won. Thank goodness I wasn’t driving that night because my wife said I was passed out on the bedroom floor, well I almost made it to the bed.

Yes it gets monotonous after a while. I have Yankees hats that I still haven’t worn from playoffs past.

What was great when I lived on Staten Island is there was public transportation and all the people were rooting for the New York teams. Mississippi I would have to drive and the fan base would be split so that is out of the question.

Same when I lived in New York now it’s strictly home.

Especially for the Yankees but if it were a franchise that was hardly in the postseason I could see it. But my wife always buys them for me as either anniversary gifts or Christmas presents.

Glad the Mets are the early game today as me and my wife have some errands to run when she gets off of work.

This isn't encouraging.

Yankees to replace injured Ian Hamilton with Mark Leiter Jr.

Well, Weaver's implosion saved me from purchasing any Topps Now cards from yesterday's game.

Rizzo and Wells are back in the lineup tonight. Boone must read the thread here as Chisholm is hitting 4th with Stanton behind him. Wells is 8th.

Soto home run to score Torres and the Yankees take the 2 - 0 early lead.

No pitching in this one. Double to make it 2nd and 3rd no outs.

Ramirez with the sacrifice fly to score a run.

Now 2 - 1.

Gil with the big K of Thomas to end the inning.

2 - 1 Yankees after 1.

Geez just got home from errands and already missed 3 runs. Going to be another nailbiter.
