Without a doubt, early prices are stabilizing. Cards 1-50 will slowly rise from here.

Yeah I thought it was for my 81&82. So they skipped 81-84 to send me 85-85. Kind of weird

So does this mean my order of 83, 84, 85, 86 will ship soon? Ordering multiple items together from Topps is definitely not the way to go....

I ordered 81-86 in the same order but have only gotten notification for 85-86

I think shipping is quicker with any product order from Topps, if ordered individually if possible in case one card or product is taking longer or is being printed later.

Commentary on the round that just completed:

Sweet 16 - 1-25

Expected seeds 1 through 4
Actual seeds:
2- Trout Ermsy
6 - Griffey Saladeen
13 - Ichiro Ermsy
17 - Clemente Cartoon

Clemente Cartoon was a 17 seed, and has upset 3 opponents in a row - Gibson Grotesk, 1 seed Ichiro Baller, and 8 Seed Ripken Fucci. Clemente Cartoon won in a blowout against Ripken Fucci this week 52-17. I can't help but think this is due to the companion card, auto send-in / companion card program from the last couple of weeks, and pumping on this thread. Having said that, it's a great looking card and I probably seeded it too low to begin with.

13 seed Ichiro Ermsy wins the battle in a VERY close matchup against 12 seed Henderson Taylor, 35 to 34. This was the closest matchup in this poll, with 2 low seeded overachievers. Again, I probably should have seeded these 2 higher.

2 seed Trout Ermsy smokes 7 seed Rivera Chang 56-14. No surprises here.

6 seed Griffey Saladeen handily defeats 14 seed Mattingly Shore 41-28. A bit of a surprise, because Mattingly Shore took out 3 seed and lowest overall PR Gooden Back last round.

Sweet 16 - 26-50

Expected seeds 1 through 4
Actual seeds:
1 - Ripken Siff
2 - Mattingly Blake
4 - Ripken Beck
14 - Jeter Saladeen

1 seed Ripken Siff easily took care of 9 seed Gooden Ermsy 54-17. 2 great cards here but the right guy won.

In the first battle of the Blowout Darlings, 4 seed Tyson Beck's Cal Ripken Jr sent 12 Seed Blake Jamieson's Jackie Robinson home 46-26. Results as expected, Jackie is a great card but Ripken is just on a different level.

In the second battle of the Blowout Darlings, Blake gets some redemption as his 2 seed Don Mattingly Blake Jamieson sends the bespectacled 10 seed Mays Efdot home with his tail between his legs, 42-28. Chalk rules the day.

The upset for the 26-50 division comes in the form of 14 seed Jeter Saladeen taking out Trout Thiele in a close 38-32 upset. Jeter had taken out the 3 seed Gooden Vides in the previous round 82-37, while Trout had a much closer matchup scraping by Ichiro JK5 66-54.

Sweet 16 - 51-75

Expected seeds 1 through 4
Actual seeds:
1 - Trout Baller
4 - Henderson Blake
6 - Clemente JK5
7 - Williams Efdot

1 seed Trout Baller dispatched 9 seed Mattingly Siff 40-31, but they were down for the first 3 quarters. Needed a solid push from late voters to take it over the top.

In the third battle of the Blowout Darlings, 4 seed Henderson Blake gets some revenge by taking out 5 seed Beck Gibson 40-31. For me, this was the toughest matchup to pick this round. Both cards are phenomenal works of art and could have easily wound up 1-2 with different seedings.

Blowout favorite Efdot scored an expected victory when 7 seed Williams Efdot plowed 15 seed Ryan Thiele 45-25. Ryan Thiele was on a hot streak having upset 2 seed Gibson Shore aka "the worst baseball card ever created" last round 75-43.

In a surprise, 6 seed JK5 Clemente takes out 3 seed Brett Beck 41-29. JK% has seen a lot of pumping on this thread recently, but the Star Wars references and red accents make this card stand out on its own merit. Brett Beck is a personal favorite of mine, so this was another hard matchup to handicap. 2 very worthy contenders.

Sweet 16 - 76-100

Expected seeds 1 through 4
Actual seeds:
1 - McGwire Blake
2 - Griffey Shore
6 - Jeter Siff
12 - Gwynn Efdot

1 seed McGwire Blake took out 8 seed Williams Oldmanalan 48-22. No surprises here, even though Williams Oldmanalan had squeaked out a victory over Ripken Don C in the previous round 63-58. Williams actually took an early lead but McGwire soon put him in his getty imaged place. Is this a getty image? I feel like it's not.

12 seed Gwynn Efdot upset 4 seed Gibson Ermsy 44-26. Efdot is clearly a fan favorite around these parts, but the Gwynn card in particular has gotten a lot of praise lately. After taking out 5 seed Clemente Oldmanalan last week, the Gwynn was ready for anything and Gibson Ermsy may dine on baseball bats but he was lunch for Efdot Gwynn.

2 seed Griffey Shore defeated 7 seed McGwire Thiele 38-32. I felt like I might have seeded McGwire too high, because he was in the lead for the first 3 quarters. Crying Griffey and his 99k print run were just too much for McGwire Thiele and his hidden USA card.

And the big upset in this division is the unstoppable fish face 3 seed Trout Blake Baller getting sent home by the sneaky 6 seed Siff Jeter 47-23. I think the Siff Jeter has been written off by a lot of us because it fell in the high print run weeks with a PR of 48,465. Upon closer inspection, this is a really cool card that many of us apparently own 10-packs of.

Let's say a quarter of orders on avg are for 10 packs, then you have about 2k - 2500 buyers. I think the answer is in there somewhere and would explain why even some sub 2k print run cards aren't really in demand. I don't think there's that many people collecting this.
Nobody really knows how many people are collecting this, but I can tell you there are a lot of people with "interest" in Project 2020.

Take a look at this:

In just 1.5 days, the recent Trout card I have for sale on ebay has had over 2,000 views.

In 2.5 days, the 1986 Fleer sticker complete set in PSA 9 I have listed showing Jordan as the first picture has only 327 views.

Trout Project 2020 card has had ~7 times more views than a somewhat iconic Jordan card and in just over half the time!

You might say, "yeah, but it's Trout". You'd be right, except look at the Williams...Nearly 1700 views. Over 5 times as many as the Jordan in nearly half the time the Jordan has been listed.

I know, I know...apples to oranges. But I'm telling you, people are WAY underestimating the potential with this Project.

If there aren't 2,000 unique collectors right now, there will be one of these days. I'd venture to say we have several thousand unique collectors right now. Those several thousand aren't collecting the entire set, but they're collecting some of these cards, and that will likely pique their interest into collecting more P2020 cards down the road.

Happy collecting my friends.

Commentary is easier when there are fewer matchups. And thanks!

Warned against both- when I and others said to not sell on eBay. I’ve sold over 200 p2020 cards with zero returns. Don’t sell p2020 on eBay- for literally the 23rd time.

Down to a single vides henderson at ebay auction. Another week or so they should finally be out of all the weak hands. And in hands of collectors. We are getting closer everyday.

I hope so. I'm down $1200ish on my in hand cards, had I not been I would have picked up a PSA 10 2011 Trout RC 175 today for "only" $1500, great deal I had to pass up because of how much I've "lost" with P2020. I was given the choice to sell all my in hand cards and buy the Trout or keep the cards and not buy the Trout, hope I made the right decision

Please PM me where this Trout Update 10 is available for $1500 and I will send you $300 as a finder’s fee if I get the card at that price. This is a serious offer.
