Can't forget that Mejia is out for the playoffs and Montero is far from a sure thing. And even though Blevins was great before he got hurt, it was only 7 games. A deal for another solid bullpen arm is key in my opinion.

As in if they were to trade for someone? I'd be content with these current 6


Familia
Mejia
Blevins
Gilmartin
Parnell
Montero - long relief

And in a trade, I'd love for them to try and get Clippard from the A's. He would be of big help down the stretch and would be able to lessen the role of Mejia so if the Mets do make the postseason, the loss of him isn't as devastating as it would be if they were to use him as a set-up man/go-to big out guy when he comes back. Also, if Terry continues to use Familia for 4+ out saves he would be able to fill in temporarily for Jeurys if he needs to rest after a long couple of days.
