How do eight year olds know about Mosaic? No disrespect intended. When I was eight any cards I got I ended up making into card houses and throwing them at my brother in card fights.

He doesn’t know anything about anything other than he loves basketball it’s my knowledge that teaches him and brightens his day. I knew I shouldn’t have shared anything here. He doesn’t know about card releases or value. What he does know is he likes basketball and opening cards he doesn’t know value or even what is what. I just enjoy teaching him and spending time with him. He doesn’t know optic from prizm or mosaic and never ever was I trying to imply he did. I’m sorry for the confusion

If you want me to get deeper into it I can. My children became custody of mine 4 months ago because their mother had a drug problem. I’ve spent 6,000 in daycare over the course of that time. He loves basketball and I was just trying to bring joy to a child who has been to hell and back. I’m done here.

Don’t listen to some of these idiots man, that’s the whole purpose of collecting is to have something to do with your son! Maybe collecting will keep him away from his mothers habits when he gets older. This hobby does have a lot of good even with everything that people keep bringing up these days!!! Id have taken them all. I open everything I buy. Beyond stealing or anything else super shady, it is open season to do whatever to get retail basketball at this point. There's a good 10+ people in my small town who now buy out all the stock they can to resell on eBay. I have zero issue with them doing so but if I can get a fair, legal advantage....at this point Im doing it. Doubt theyre playing fair based on what I see and hear. Ridiculous to have this attitude towards cards but even I wont pay hobby prices(I used to spend a LOT of money on wax).

i've been tracking megas pretty closely, they're not selling at $150 even on eBay. Actually had a couple auctions end within the last hour no bids at 149.99
