They're up 2-0, but they've looked really sloppy in getting there. Feels more like they are winning these games because Cle has been even sloppier and they have no starting pitching.

The Yankees sloppiness is the baserunning mistakes and untimely hitting. Cleveland’s sloppiness was in the field and wild pitches which are more costly. The Yankees are actually fielding better than I expected.

Wouldn’t call an insurance run homer a moment but it’s better than what he’s been doing. Bigger moments are yet to come. Ps didn’t read article yet.

I actually tried to read this article but there were too many other things popping up which made it hard to read. Letting Urshela go was a big mistake.

Yes if jazz didn’t screw up on the bases it would’ve been a bigger inning.,Rizzo at least got Volpe home and is hitting better than expected.,also didn’t read article.

Gotta say his last at bat looked like he was in mid season form. He probably smoked 4 balls 100mph plus. Also love his work behind the plate. Gotta say even with the post season slump I think we finally found a real catcher.

Yes he has looked bad but in his last at bat last night he was hitting the ball hard on the four fouls and he hit the Lineout to right pretty hard. I would leave things alone until they lose a game. I thought Wells would do well in the postseason but his hitting is a disappointment, his fielding and game calling has been good. Didn’t read article.

I pretty much said the same thing in the post right after yours.

Sorry I didn’t read the articles FT but I am more of a highlight and tv analyst guy. I just know what the articles most likely will say and then throw in the wonkiness of trying to read them through the adds it’s just not worth it. What’s funny is I like reading articles from an actual newspaper but online it’s not as much fun.

Truth be told I didn't read the article either (I should when time permits) but I just love his all around game. He seems like one of our most underrated prospects in a while.

I feel much better about our chances after that Judge HR. That was huge.

I usually wait till later to read the articles but I did try reading the Urshela one but it was hopping all over the place. What I like about Wells is his hitting hasn’t affected his fielding and game calling.

I just wish they didn’t have today off. There are a lot of bats not contributing but Gleyber, Soto, Stanton, Volpe and even Rizzo have been giving them enough offense. I don’t expect the whole team to all be hitting at the same time but throw Judge back into the mix and it’s a different dynamic.

They play at 5 tomorrow, rare occasion the Yankees move from the prime spot. I'll take it however, I don't like the late games. Cleveland is a great home team. Makes sense since their bullpen has been so good this year. Nevertheless I hope Yankees can jump on them tomorrow and demoralize them. That would be the recipe to a short series.

Yep the trick is to try and not have a long layover till the next series, but the Yankees are proving they can play even after having time off.

Does playoff traveling affect teams in the long run. If so and the Mets and Dodgers go to 6 games that bodes well for the Yankees.

Me too. Those were not unimportant insurance runs either -- they were absolutely critical, in my view.
