The virus should be at the top of his priority list,but it obviously isn't. I realize that he is trying to win an election,but 158,000 people dead and 4.6 million cases should be addressed. When he DOES address it, it's all fake numbers and lip service to the American people. He won't even allow the doctors/experts to speak up there with him,because he doesn't want them showing him up or contradicting his false information. Pathetic. His response ,or lack of one to the pandemic is going to cost him the election....God,I hope so. We are a hot mess because of Trump.

It is not just "Trump" or "Republicans" or "Democrats"... It bugs me so much when people try to label where the problem is...the problem is putting responsibility on PEOPLE!!! That is the problem.

We have so many cases in Florida and over and over I hear stories of people who get a positive test but still go out to restaurants and beaches with no mask, saying well I feel fine?!?

That's not politics...that is putting people in charge having their own "freedom" when they don't give a crap about anyone but themselves

No matter who is in charge, no matter what we do...it comes out lose/lose...yet everyone wants to act like they have the solution.

You have a lockdown- people get mad, and say it destroys their freedom- they go out anyways because they are selfish

You let people choose- people will knowing or unknowing make decisions that will effect others

You have only the safe people go back to work or the tested for back to work- people will say that is discrimination and will lie about getting tested, just to get a job back and will possibly effect others...

Etc, etc... Every problem and every solution is based on having a society actually care about one another and do things that they may not want to do for a little bit to work together to end this...but that will never happen in our selfish society

I get it and I agree, but when the data says you'll be fine if you're relatively healthy and under 55... you're going to get stir crazy with 5 months of this. The data is there, use it to make sound decisions.

There are no experts. Kids are in more danger with the flu than this virus and it really isn't close. The data is there, people need to start using it to make sound decisions.

So if everyone who can't stand him and thinks that everything is a lie and they want to hear the "truth" of experts...how come 1.) Everything he says, they just dont do the opposite...if you hate Trump and he is not wearing a mask- you will probably wear a mask in spite and/or because you think he is wrong and 2) people HAVE heard from the experts for months...yet it's all the same.

Fauci and Birx are experts. People stopped caring about wearing masks and social distancing when Trump eliminated them from the briefings. They see the president not following the guidelines and they take their cues from him. That is why the virus has now gone to a catastrophic level. Other countries have flattened their curves because EVERYONE did those simple things to slow or stop the spread: mask,social distance,frequent hand washing. Why can't we grasp that? Just look at our so-called "leader." We don't have one. That's why the world laughs at us. If only some of us do it,this virus will never be stopped. Again,no federal leadership...that is our problem.

No, they aren't. It's clear you have CNN in your house 24/7. These experts have been off every time... why? Because you can't be an expert on something you have never seen before.

Yea, those countries don't have 50 states where half will do the opposite of what Trump says. No matter what he did in the beginning, half of these states would have done the opposite. If you're gonna blame Trump, going to need to blame the Governors too... especially the one's that had massive issues like NY, NJ, PA, MI.

I understand that people are going to do what they want. Myself? I don't wear a mask and socially distance because I hate Trump. That's ridiculous. I do it because I don't want to infect anyone,or anyone to infect me. It's pretty simple.really. The people who won't do it are selfish and taking their cues from him. Do you realize how many outbreaks were caused by him and his rallies and unnecessary visits to hot spots? Think about it. Two weeks or so later,bunches of people started testing positive. His solution? Stop testing. Duh.

I will disagree that, yes, our leadership, but other countries are far better at not being as greedy and selfish. I am in Florida, the craphole of this pandemic...and day after day, they interview and show all the time that you need to wear masks and do XYZ...yet so many people don't...you see them partying on the beach. Do you think that is all because they disagree with the federal government...no... They want to party, be free, their young and nobody can tell them what to do. It's pure selfishness. By now, there has been months of saying what is good and bad of what to do... People are going to do what they want to do regardless of how it impacts others

It isn't really selfishness. If you're scared... don't go to those places. Stay home as much as you can. It isn't hard. That's what I don't get, why are people so worried about what others do? Just stay away.
