Thought this was a $200 card, I'm guessing it's more because he's in a Mariners uniform. This made the cut for this thread, already posted in the Junior one.

I paid 400 for mine and thought it was a great price for a sharp looking on card auto of Griffey. M’s uniform is a must for me.

I’m surprised how little active year Mariners Autos are out there. Makes me want to pick up an SPx if I can find one

Here’s one that you never expect to see randomly pop up.

For the newer guys this is /4. A lot of 90s stuff they would number in order where the first 50 or 250 for instance would be die cut.

The was /4, the 9 was /90 and the 2 was /200

Absolutely. Any active Mariners autos still have some room for growth. I think the premium for these vs retired/Reds uni autos will only increase over time.

That’s awesome man, I didn’t know a /4 even existed. Your Griffey stash never ceases to amaze me.

Before my dark ages (when we had babies, 2014-17) I was really into chasing the 1998 UD3 set. It's my favorite set, still. I've got a partial set sitting over my shoulder, including diecuts /1000 & /2000. I've had (3) total /100 --- Pedro, Mussina, and this Rolen below. I sold the Pedro & Mussina when they got inducted, but this Rolen is such well-loved shape that I think I'm going to hold onto it :-).

I'm too far into prospects to have the mental bandwidth to keep chasing the set, but it's really fun to reminisce about.

If you can find one, the one to get is the 1998 Upper Deck Retro Sign of the Times auto. It’s killer!!

Biggest 90s pickup in years. Traded this card years ago and I'm very happy to have it back.

Any thoughts on the PSA 8 Jeter bid up to ~$15k? That seems high

I thought the card would go 10k max. But now adays it's whatever the collector is willing to pay. If it was on Goldin I could see it hitting 15k maybe too.

90s baseball stuff does extremely shitty on Goldin. All the Griffey stuff I just sold I could have got more on eBay and paid less fees. Plus they have worst service ever
