I dont see why people pumping their own prospects/ players have to come to this thread. Its like everyone and their mother wants to ride the Acuna hype train.

It's generally accepted there are around 20k bat down cards right? Maybe 30k tops? 20k is honestly not that large of a quantity for a base flagship rookie card.

Virgin 410s are much easier and cheaper to come by than US250.

I also have 2 at BGS giving me 6 total now.

Right and no it’s not compared to most base flagship which is why I said it’s considered SP. But it’s still a significant enough amount to take money and attention away from any other base RC he has. Tatis doesn’t have that factor as TBP points out below. I thinks that helps explain why Tatis’ flagship is selling for more than the US250 while his other cards still lag behind some.

Where is 410 outselling US250?

Tatis Raw 410 is like $50, same as Acuna US250

People don’t consider RD a RC to chase. With Tatis I think they will because there aren’t as many sexy options like Acuna. Acuna has one, but it’s scoffed at because of his jumping jack photo. Personally I don’t consider SP or variations true RC, because they aren’t in the set. Some argue that and it’s cool if you’re a believer. I had a blast pulling the Batting Jersey Acuna in 2018, and the Dugout Soto. They still don’t compare to their base RC though as far as what I prefer. A Flagship RC traditionally means the first RC of a player in the checklist. Not an SP, SSP because those are variations of the flagship card.
Bat Down, White Jersey etc are variations. Bat Down was an SSP like Gleybers was in S2. Its all fun to collect and whichever way you look at it is cool. Point is it’s all fun right now chasing them cawds!!!
