Spurs trying their hardest to lose this one. Derrick White has been really really bad coming back from injury so far

Jinx! Yeah it’s going to be on Shaqtin... but Kelenna called it right, he saw White closing out hard and thought he could draw FTs from the intentional grab

He had a decent 1st game but it’s been bad since. Luckily DeMar has picked it up and DJ really stepped up this game + 8 steals?

Random side note, I remember watching Kelenna playing high school basketball in Oklahoma and getting undercut one game as he was about to throw down a nasty dunk a couple steps inside the free throw line.

He would pack out gyms wherever he played. Dude was simply a man among boys. One team literally face guarded him in a double team all game from half-court and he still put up 30.

Good memories. Sorry for the tangent.

Double digit win for the Bucks vs Denver.

Sneaking up on everybody now just a game out of first in the East.

Denver doesn't look very good

Awful foul by KCP. Clutch FTs by Shai. Not a great game winning attempt by Lebron.

Back to back overtime for old man, can he close like he did in Det?

Plenty of stupid plays and missed shots by the youngsters down the stretch. OKC is feisty, and certainly not the rollover everyone thought they would be coming in to the season

Why on Earth are the Lakers playing LeBron 90 minutes in two consecutive game in February?

Obviously because he wants to. If Lebron wanted to rest he would be sitting.

Because he wants the MVP. Unfortunately the dude is so insecure he's still chasing "respect".

How many games has Wiseman missed? Seems like a decent percentage.

I haven't watched much Wizards basketball this year (only their games against the 76ers), so I'm taking a shot in the dark here... but Beal is taking 25 shots a game and averaging only 4.5 assists. Getting others more involved in the offense could translate into better energy and effort on both ends of the floor. They're going to suck regardless, but they ain't winning many games the way they're playing, so it might be worth it to try a slightly different approach.

Could be true. That insecurity has him playing MVPish level ball in his mid to late 30s, though. I dislike a lot about his personality, but given the miles on his wheels, the way he's been able to transform his game, and the level of play that he's maintained, I can't say that being insecure is hurting his legacy.

I think both things are true...but he's always been about playoff success. It's unusual for him to put in so much effort on the regular season. I mean, all they need is to have a Top 2 seed and they'll have home court advantage at least until the Finals.

I'm just glad Zion attacks the basket. I miss that type of basketball. Perimeter defense seems to be lacking these days all over the NBA. The Pelicans are mediocre without Zion but glad he makes their games fun to watch.

The evolution of Lebron James and his haters. First coming out of high school it was he’s not that good. They see he is that good and then it’s he can’t win a title. He starts winning titles and it’s but he’s aging/declining and can’t shoot. They see him get even better with age and Lebron become a threat from everywhere on the court. He can’t win without the super team heat and then he goes back to Cleveland and has one of the greatest championships against the super warriors. It was his success is just from being in the weak east, he goes west and wins a title. Now running out of a reasonable debate it’s unprovable mental states from internet psychologists lmao.

This was the worst body language I've seen from Jokic all season

https://streamable.com/cpzoky

after MPJ fired up that bottom-of-the-rim garbage... Murray was 4-17 [still think he's playing hurt], Morris made some dumb decisions/ early shot-clock clanks too, which can't happen because Barton makes enough of those. Barton was red-hot in the 1st half and then absolutely disappeared in the 2nd. Milsap played good defense on Giannis for the most part but then dribbled into TO situations in crunch-time.

All that to say that him getting fired up after the MPJ clanker and draining a 3 with zero hesitation next possession is I think a good thing. Shows that he is indeed a winner, and he doesn't like losing. Only other time I saw him close to this mad or with sad body language was during their first losing streak this year. Hopefully the team responds - will be difficult to do if Murray is as banged up as I think he might be. So that means they have to rely more heavily on MPJ to pick up some offensive slack, or maybe the FO does make a move at the deadline this year.
