Out the door march 9th, got grades may 22. Got absolutely hosed.

Why is BGS so slow for how little they grade now? Did they also shrink their team?

My cards got delivered there on 3/30 on base service.

CC charged a week later.

Validation late April.

No grades or anything else yet.

Subjectively speaking, how harsh is BGS grading these days compared to PSA and SGC?

I have built a pile of junk wax era cards that I would actually prefer in a BGS slab (feeling nostalgic for the gold labels), but seeing "45+" days is such a deterrent.

Does BGS have only like 2 graders? Seeing their piddly sub counts each month, how does it still take nearly a month to even start grading a sub???

I’ve been finding out that it is taking about 27 to 30 business days from once they enter it into their system and it ships w/standard.

Too bad they can't get it together

I'd send 100% of my items to them

Unfortunately it's all going to PSA right now

Their holders are way better than that cheap crap PSA uses

They just left your cards on a pile until it's time. They want you to pay for higher service

Such a shame. I only grade with them now as I dont grade a ton of cards bur they really could've solidified themselves as #2 and even compete with PSA if they get their stuff together. Not happening though it seems

The pricing and turnaround times force your hand to sgc or psa for sports cards. It sucks

Seems really the ONLY reason to even think about subbing to BGS these days is to chase a Pristine 10 or Black label.

Submitted my first ever sub (standard) to BGS...hopefully I don't regret it. Lol
2 cards that I went over with a fine tooth comb and really think have a chance at a pristine 10, but bare minimum 9.5. Guess we'll find out in about a month or so!
