was just going to post this Greg. This seller scams people on shipping big time. Looks like someone already bid and fell for the trap. Sam Ellis was selling this Artist Proof at different conventions for $40. LOL. He's including the Artist's fee's in the shipping price, ahahhahaha. WTF

And no, I'm sadly not making that up.

Apologies if linking to eBay is taboo, but I just thought this was too hilarious to not post about.

Sadly, he goes into great detail about how it's absolutely not a joke.

The Artist's Fee was probably the kicker for me. I just couldn't even form a cohesive statement after that. Just a string of hahahahas.

The bidder is someone who's been buying up a ton of Archer stuff recently on eBay.

On a happier note not related to ridiculous eBayers, I recently received a custom glow in the dark/sparkly Archer 1/1 sketch from a buddy. A nice, quirky addition to the collection.

So i was talking to Sam Ellis yesterday through email. I learned a few things. First off he was the first person ever to draw Archer. The show was initially going to be called "Duchess" He sent me a pic of the original look of Archer and how it has changed. I will attach that below!

He said the guy who is reselling the Artist Proof bought it for $200 at a convention a couple weeks back. I emailed him back yesterday and asked him how many sketches he drew for the set and if he had a pic of all of them. If and when he replies I will post it here. With him being the first to draw Archer, that would make his sketches the most valuable. Im thinking he didn't draw more then 10 if i had to guess. As far as i know my Ellis Archer is the only one i've seen pulled from a pack.

** I will also be posting my updated sketches late Tuesday. I got some cool new one's to show**

Default Brandon Baselice Artist's Proof: Lana's Got A Gun.

Brandon Baselice was holding a Summer Blowout Sale on his remaining APs and I couldn't resist nabbing this Lana for $10. It unfortunately arrived a bit damaged with a couple of noticeable but small creases; for the price though it will still make a great add to the collection.

appreciate the kind words guys... I agree with you Sterling I really like the Mohd but my Houseman tops the list for me.

I've been pulling Jen Montes like crazy recently, I got two of her cards in 6 boxes a month or so ago. She really nailed it on this set. Im looking for one more Vince Sunico in bed sketch to complete the 3some.

On a side note, i have never pulled one Cyril sketch card in all my boxes I have opened, which i don't mind since he's my least favourite character but I found that interesting. I have a hard time finding Cheryl sketches as well. Most of my Cheryl's were bought off ebay long ago

I just heard from the buyer who bought this, he recieved a print of the sketch. The seller didn't sell him the real thing and he was indeed charged $239 on shipping. UNREAL, Instant Block & Ban that user. WOW

!! WILL TAKE A FAIR OFFER B-4 A BID STARTS !!

Well he has that line in his auction write up-- that alone would get him kicked off ebay--- they don't mind having scammers on there--- but not ones that openly admit they will take their business offline...

Ebay wont do anything about the shipping scams anymore-- because as any seller knows -- they take the same fee cut off the shipping as they do off the item price itself.

Also to be somewhat fair-- its not really a scam if he tells you up front how much shipping is going to cost..

In that case, the buyer can open a 'not as described' case immediately and get a full refund of his money, including the ridiculous shipping charge, under eBay's 'Get the item you ordered or get your money back' guarantee. If he got a print instead of the original sketch, then he will win the case as the description clearly states it is a 1/1 hand drawn sketch. I hope the buyer has already set this in motion.

Man, that dude who sold it keeps getting more and more ridiculous by the second, which I didn't think was possible.

Hopefully the buyer already opened a case against him.

Check with Zoop, I'd imagine he'd be mighty interested in it.

And he still claims it's for the card itself. I don't expect anyone to actually bid, but I am curious if he would try to pull the same bait and switch move again.

Default You fox-eared #@#@#@#@#@#@#@! BABOU!!!!!

I still have no idea how Richard Brady allowed this to be packed-out when the product went live, but I'm glad this wasn't an AP, as I may have never had the opportunity to nab it.

EDIT: It's a little less blurry here:
