Yup, that was me. I bought a total of (7) boxes of Embossed.

Box 1 paid $109

Box 2,3,4 paid $270

Box 5 paid $100

Box 6,7 paid $248

I have not cracked open boxes 5, 6, or 7 yet but will this weekend and post my results.

So I cracked open box 5 and box 6 today and going to save box 7 for WrestleMania weekend.








Box 5 I pulled a Brad Armstrong auto. Pretty excited since I was going to buy one off ebay, now can put that $$ towards other cards.





Then went to a collectible store and traded some figures and got these 2 cards today. Very happy with the Steve Regal.

I was watching Raw tonight and got the itch to crack open my 7th box of WCW Embossed.

Well 16 years later TOPPS gave me 3 Jackknife Powerbombs.

1 onto the concrete floor
1 through a table
1 through a barb wire table

1 of my 7 boxes from Topps I was shorted a couple packs, not a full box of 24 packs and 1 of the packs was a Pokémon pack.

Then Saturday I cracked open 1 of the 2 boxes I won off ebay for a total of $258.00. That box was a bust Zero autographs.
So I cracked open the 2nd box off ebay tonight and ............. Jackknife Powerbomb through a table. Zero autographs.

I thought Embossed you got 1 autograph per box. I guess no more watching box breaks for me on YouTube. I watched the guy on YouTube AccordionJacob open 6 sealed boxes of Embossed. His box 1 hit was Blitzkrieg, box 2 hit Kendall Windham, box 3 hit Chris Adams, box 4 hits Eric Watts & Blitzkrieg (2 autos in 1 box), box 5 hit Scott Putski, and box 6 hit Buff Bagwell.

So he pulled 7 autograph cards in 6 boxes and out of my 7 sealed boxes I only pulled 4 autograph cards. TOTALLY disappointed and light in the wallet now :-(

Damn Wreatlingautos1 shafted big time,yes one auto per box(fingers crossed) and for $180 per auto you could have done well on auctions instead,but then a sealed box after 16 years is hard to pass up opening my friend,especially when you see others score big time,i know with nitro the hit is 5 auto's from 6 boxes,but i opened a lot early 2000 and it was more like 4 in 6 for me,better odds buying a case at a time though rather than individual boxes,fat chance of that now though with most wanting around 1500 for enbossed,but thats life.....

Are you getting the cards graded?

If so, hopefully you can pull 9 & 10 grades. That would help bring value back.

I love those Duocards. They pop up for sale every now and then. I think the last one was an Animal. It was like $26 with 10 seconds left and ended well over $100.

I had the chance to buy a second animal but the guy wanted $200 about seven years ago,he got his auto from one of josephs brothers directly and was told animal only signed twenty auto's,so there's not many around,so $100 is a good price,as for WTC i checked out the auto's more closely and it looks like all but x pac are photo's of my auto's,strange thing is i've never seen another undertaker for sale anywhere,mine came through a collector friend who picked it up at a hobby fair in upstate new york mid 2000 and i've never released a scan until now ?? and your most welcome JD,geoffs right on,if you ever need to see what a card or auto looks like just check out WTC,its been my bible for years,plus i have to go through some of my varients and see if they want scans of them,if everybody sent there's in it would make great viewing for collectors of these sets because they'd be a bit like unreleased before they put them up as they hit the market,well i've scanned a few more items i thought you guy's might just like to see? check em out and in the mid 2000s i got the bug to collect event worn cards,if anybody wants i'll go through and scan some of the best ones,just multyple colors or with words or letters on them,my favorite is a wrestlemania xix flashback of stone cold steve austin with the white letters COLD on the event worn section,truly a one of one.....Attachment 271810

I am not sure about there only being 20 Animals in the Duocards set. I remember the listing stating that Animal was signing these cards and selling them at a signing where the seller obtained a couple for himself and various other fans bought them as well. He was pretty specific about where and what the event was as well. If I remember correctly, the event was held not that long before his listing.

Damn a lot of good WCW Topps autograph cards ended tonight. Anybody in here win any? I was really surprised that Goldberg graded went for so cheap, Sting went for $289.00 and several other Beckett graded 9.5-10 cards ended pretty cheap tonight.

Always depends......This series has been selling so up and down for years now. I've seen Arn Anderson sells for over $250.....and as cheap as 75. It just depends on who is bidding/wants/needs the card at the time. I would have glady paid the prices for the Kidman, Nash, Saturn.

You'll see these prices spike up and down. But the BIN will awlays be HIGH....i've noticed that. They never seem to give...
