The Florida Panthers are going to the Stanley Cup! The last time this happened was in 1996 The nation had Olympic fever as Atlanta hosted the Olympics “E.R.” was the number one TV show

think about the butterfly effect of Pittsburgh not beating Chicago or Columbus in their final 2 games:

-Florida wouldnt have made playoffs and be on the verge of a Cup
-does Chicago get Bedard if they are in a different slot?
-Boston probably beats Pittsburgh, and maybe Toronto
-Toronto probably doesnt fire Dubas and do whatever they're about to do
-Pittsburgh might not clean house

there's probably a couple other things I'm not thinking of

They had their way with the Leafs too. I think things are going to be a tad bit different when they face the Knights, however.

I agree. The Knights are a better all around team than Toronto, Carolina and yes- even the Bruins.
Does anyone really think that Dallas is coming back in their series?
I'm looking forward to Florida vs Vegas.
Tkachuk vs Eichel for offence.
Barkov vs Stone for 2-way play.
Montour vs Pietrangelo on D.
Bob has the edge in goal but Adin has been no slouch either.
The supporting casts each side are gritty and determined.
Should be a hell of a series.

So game 5 isn't until Monday? WTF happened to a good ol' Saturday nighter?
Florida will be sitting around getting rusty at this rate. Will be minimum a full week between games for them should Vegas close it out next game.

Playoff teams that wore green flopped tonight. What a disgrace for ESPN to interview Eichel in front of the Stars exiting the ice right after the game. I'm not a Stars fan, think #19 Red and White.

As a Sabres fan it’s just such a dream come true to see Reinhardt and Eichel battle it out to raise the cup. I just LOVE it.

Pulling for Sam obvi. Tkachuk is such a gamer too.
Actually I like Jimmy buckets too so go Miami!

Why is that a disgrace? Stars gonna feel worse than the 6-zip drubbing they endured? It was inevitable that the VGKs were going to get to the SCF. Clearly the better team.
