Are you asking me or are you asking Press Pass why he wasn't on the checklist?

Fun fact: Wade Burton was born on the south side of the house.

Great era in NASCAR, that was!

1998 Press Pass Signings:

I am truly honored. Apologies for missing this earlier.

Getting drunk and driving around in circles is a time-honored ‘Merican tradition and I have to say that the tradition has never looked so good.

Fair. I loved Rusty back in the day. Unfortunately Press Pass was a respectable company that doesn't release unknown/unannounced autos for sets 10-15 years after the fact like Panini or Topps.

I know most of you look up to me as an icon, legend, hero and sometimes even a father figure. But before you erect that statue of me in front of Blowouts world headquarters I have some sad news to share. Today, April 17th in the year 2025, I am closing the book on trying to complete the 2014 & 2015 Low Tek Diffractors set. After being one card away from each set for nearly a decade it's time to call it quits. I can only hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me and that this doesn't tarnish my legacy. Cards will be liquidated at the first opportunity.

Most people won't get this joke, but I did and I appreciated it.

Beautiful set. I assume that you tried putting a bounty on them for people to hunt for you at the National? If your serious about liquidating, shoot me a price for the lot.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

We can still put up the statue but will be forced to place a largish L on the forehead.

Out of pure curiosity....

How many sets are you currently working on at any given point? Is it like 3-5? or 25-30+ based off how the scarcity of some of the cards?

I had to count, 43 sets still in the works. Folded my hand on another set today.

Do they exist? I assume they do but there are some cards in sets I'm trying to finish that I've never seen.

Upper Deck not numbering their cards really screws me over.

The Fernandez does, never seen proof of the Piazza.

The funny part is that Braun in the photo was never part of any of the checklists I've seen and yet one day poof, a Braun appears out of nowhere with no history of it ever existing.

I'm always amazed that companies seem to not be able to provide accurate checklists. The checklist notation of something like 99 or less always kills me.

Appreciate it but I just dump them off for consignment so I don't have to deal with any on-line nonsense.

It really bothers me that they have no clue about their own products. Just shows they only care about printing money, not the end collector or being able to provide accurate information.

Calling it quits on this set too, missing the Griffey. I pushed the last one on ebay over a grand, good ones just don't show up often enough. Let's be honest, set is ugly.
