New Signed Books from Barnes and Noble

Got my replacement 12x12 from 50 Cent today, really happy to get a clean, bold signature. Also have an extra one of these now with a minor smear if anyone is looking for one. He also has signed copies of his book available on his site if that's more your speed.

Random find: Gene Simmons signed bookplate. I believe it will be totally separate from the book. Maybe like postcard size from what I've seen. But the price is right huh?

If you're a GPK card collector, you might want to get a copy of the book now, even an unsigned one. The reason for this is that I've seen Topps cards inserted in books, calendars, etc., marked with "2nd edition' on later printings to distinguish them from the first editions (which you would almost surely still get on the GPK books available now).

I checked the UPS tracking number this morning for my Taylor Swift CDs and they’re FINALLY on the move after the label was first created on 10/17. Due to arrive this Saturday. Like a prior poster mentioned, check the UPS tracking number linked through your order email. They never emailed me separately about the CDs shipping.

This looks to be a place holder for the Kevin Garnett book coming out. The pages and release date match his book and if you copy and paste the title, it shows up on Amazon and Target as his book. Of course the title in the name is not the actual title of the book.

Thanks for the heads up, I put a pre-order in for it. Don't want to miss out like I did on the Seinfeld and RL Stein book orders being cancelled. As a big fan of KG I'm pumped for this one.

I took a chance and pre-ordered from one of the sites that offered the Natalie Portman book with a random signed bookplate. I just got this in:





Sure it would have been better if it was signed in the book, but I was happy to get one since I've been wanting a Portman autograph for a while.

I just imagine a lot of people flocking there and ordering the book. I was about to as well. I'm sure the site is legit, but some people will be let down when they receive a copy that is not signed

They also wouldn’t say how many copies they had signed. I’m surprised they shipped already since the live stream is tonight. So who knows if all the signed copies were already sent out or not?

Yep, I totally understand. Thanks for the disclaimer. I am rolling the dice after seeing someone get one though.

I have cousins with kids who would love these story books if I get one that isn't signed. Oh well, gift for a kid, helping a small bookstore out, won't feel too bad if it's plain -- the hunt for Queen Amidala will simply continue for my collection.

I got mine yesterday and the dust jacket was really bad. Also, mine didn’t even have an autograph! I’ve looked through the entire book and it’s not there... pretty bummed as I don’t even care about the book so... contacted books a million but I’m not expecting a good outcome lol

Did it have the "Signed Copy" sticker on the front? That's really odd.

Mine came in with no damage so it looks like I got lucky.

Yeah says signed copy and everything. Also made sure my invoice was for the signed copy.

That's bizarre. It should be signed on the second page of the book (a blank white page). Hopefully they can get you a replacement quickly.
