Aaron Rodgers is a pretty good comp.

Probably will win a one ring but that is all.

He’s amazing to watch. The talent is clearly there. That type of card never sells near that high and isn't even a top 5 card in the NT brand.. Obviously he's inflated beyond words can say... And that card will prob be $6500 value in a few yrs.

Every yr there's another 50+ new 1/1s created/added with new variations and new sets. This isn't 2012 & below.... How many 1/1s Rodgers had? 20 maybe How many luck had? 40 maybe Now look at mahomes... He must have 1k+ 1/1s. I'm not saying all his cards will drop 60% but overall as a whole his stuff is prob 60% overvalued. Plus I'm sure alot of his stuff is being shilled.

We'll see how it goes... The young man has a very bright career ahead and what he's done for KC has been amazing but he's Def a SELL right now "at the current prices". Anyone stocking up at these astronomical prices will probably be suicidal in a few yrs..

My point is every year there's a new QB with a flood more autos than the previous yrs QB.... MAYFIELD has taken on that role for 2019 it appears

I sold all but one of my Mahomes autos this week, never profited so much from football cards so it was an easy decision!

If assuming that everyone is going to get injured is your game plan, then football isn't the sport for you to be buying into.

He played a great game and didn't get to touch the ball in OT. If people judge him on that they are idiots. He'll still get MVP and probably many more.

He's going to win the MVP, and played a solid game. He made a few mental mistakes though, and really helped out by playcalls. Screens and pick plays with lots of yards after catch.

Still a promising QB.

One of his auctions just ended at half of what the last one did. I love how fickle collectors are. I'm gonna load up on him over the next few months if the prices drop. Plus I'll be able to complete all of the rainbows I started.

You and everyone else will be competing on his rookie cards.
I can’t see his card prices dropping a whole lot with the way that game ended.
He’s the future for KC and if he’s a baller again next season.
His cards will be right back up fast and that’s what everyone else will be thinking during the off-season. Which will help keep his prices up and not falling much.
Will you be able to find some good prices here and there. Probably so.

He is a new superstar only 23 years old who threw for 50 TDS in his first full season, his team lost to the GOAT in overtime. He carried a team with the leagues worst run defense and they lost Kareem Hunt a top 10 RB. I expect high end stuff to stay pricey and lower end to take a slight dip.

Can't imagine much of a drop if at all. Has good weapons, good scheme, good overall team. Can make any throw. What's not to like going forward?
