I just checked the tran log, and while I knew there have only been a few this year, I'm amazed to learn I've been involved in every trade in this league! Kinda surprising. I'm not sure what the cause is, as it looks like pretty much everyone has been active for the most part. I do think only having a few keepers complicates things a bit as everyone wants to make that trade for someone they'll get to keep for years, but yeah, I'm really surprised there's only been 3 trades total this year

I'm always willing to discuss or shoot offers back and forth, so anyone can hit me up at any time if they're looking to make some moves!

Personally, I am looking to trade some valuable keeper guys to trade up and win now. I have guys like Soto, Greinke, Lester, Gennett and maybe even Clevinger or Flaherty that I would move for a guy that was drafted in rounds 1 or 2 that have no keeper value.

Would Soto be a round 15 keeper? You picked him up in free agency right?

Unless during the next 2-3 weeks something changes for me.... I will be shipping out Arenado and Judge soon for keeper options next year.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the trade market balances itself for teams selling high end assets that can't be kept for lower tier guys with strong keeper values. It's definitely going to be a difficult thing to balance at first

If he was a FA add (not waivers or anything), then yeah he'd be a 15th rounder to start

Elvis Andrus is off the DL next week. He was a 7th rounder. He's yours for Soto if you like.

I'm still debating a little bit if I'm going to be buying or selling at the deadline. My team could go either way still. Will have a better idea of what I want to do in a few weeks, but in the meantime I'll listen to anything. Pretty much all of my players would be available in the right deal other than Torres

With having Correa and Bogaerts, I don't think I would have a starting position for Andrus

I'd probably be willing to send one of my better guys for some good pitching keeper value. Needs to be a good pitcher though, not someone who's solid but not great

Looks like it's mainly just Poonchka and Firerunner. Both have made changes to their lineups in the past week though, and both have rosters that don't look like they would typically need to make many changes from day to day either. Not sure why Fire hasn't activated Bum yet though. I can send a message to both and see if they're still playing. They both paid for the year though, so although it'd be nice to have a fully active lead, it's their loss if they're not going to be around every day

It is a little more than just Bum... look at the line up again

I'm not sure. His lineup changed this past Wednesday, but I don't know why he didn't move his DL around at that point. Guess I'm not entirely sure what to do here. He paid for the year so it's to his advantage to be as active as possible, and he hasn't completely abandoned his team, but things could clearly be better

Can’t boot an owner during season because they paid already. But can definitely look to replace them next season if they continue to not even try to better themselves for next season or be competitive to keep integrity for this season.
