He and Darling have been the worst on that. It's like they are at the stadium, but watching a different game.

Cole pitched 100% better this game than in Game 1. He must have beat himself up after that one and came out determined to be the CY Young winner he was in this one. Now, if only he keeps that up through the ALCS.

And that was why it was nice of Cleveland to tie the series back up. Detroit now has to pitch Skubel in game 5 and he won't be on the mound Game 1 and possibly Game 2 in the ALCS.

This bullpen is back and amazing. 15 2/3 scoreles innings in the ALDS. It would be nice if this game (1-2 with a double, 2 walks, a run, and 0 Ks) propels Judge the rest of the way.

Outstanding to hear.

Sorry, Jazz. There’s only one Deion Sanders. It is difficult to make something out of nothing sometimes. He did seem to enjoy the role of villain in KC.

Congrats to the Yanks! They made the plays when it counted. Was a fun series to watch. Good luck against Cleveland or Detroit.

I go by the philosophy be careful what you wish for. But since we are determined to play close game I'd rather not face Classe.

If they face cleveland they need to get early leads which they "should" do because their starting pitching isn't great.

He slid late but I don’t think he was out to hurt him. Volpe handled himself well.

It’s like they are completely different pitchers, maybe Holmes was meant to be the setup guy to Weaver all along. They didn’t leave the door open one bit this whole series. I think Judge will start getting on base more and not necessarily hitting home runs like he did during the season but any contribution is a welcome sight.

Any method to get him back in pinstripes works for me.

Jazz just needs to shut up and play ball. There is no reason to say anything stupid and inject life into a dangerous team. Let your play do the talking as a few others on the Yankees have done. I want to like Jazz so I don’t want him act like a punk and cause problems that aren’t there.

I really don’t want a subway series, there would be no shame in losing to the Dodgers or Padres but to lose to the crosstown rivals who entered the playoffs as a wildcard would not be good.

Especially since Clase’ already had his bad moment with the 3 run homer to lose a game. I don’t see him giving up many more 3 run homers in these playoffs and he is probably the best closer left in the playoffs right now.

The good news is during the season Judge hit well against both teams. I think they said .372 against the Guardians and .364 against the Tigers. If he can come anywhere close to those numbers it bodes well for helping the Yankees advance.

That's seems to be jazz though and I kind of like it.

In a way it seemed like him drawing the hate kind of wore the crowd out. They were so hyper focused on him.

Yes against a lesser team like the Royals it might work but against the stronger teams left in the playoffs it could stir them up. I like how Soto has a certain swagger but never insults other teams or players.

Fair, to each his own. I enjoy that F you attitude he brings. I wouldn't want a whole team of that personality but I think he brings lot of confidence to this team. I bet he's low key a good locker room guy.

Probably and you’re right that a team needs at least one antagonist as long as he doesn’t go overboard. And I guess it beats the stale tired quiet teams of the Yankees that hadn’t made it this far in a season.

Bad takes on baseball talk shows. These shows get heaped with praise when they are right but never called out when they are wrong. Kevin Millar and his whole panel on intentional talk got everything wrong about yesterday’s games. From predicting the Royals would force a game 5 and Witt jr would break out to lead them, to Detroit closing out the Guardians and Riley Greene having a good game. Feel sorry if anybody who bets listened to their takes.

I watch Jomboy and Jake and Pinstripe Territory, I'm done with the celebrity MLB network and postgame guys. I like DeRosa and a couple of other guys. If MLB cared they would make a way for the local announcers to continue in the postseason. Costas and Darling were brutal and I have a feeling it will get worse. I guess we have Buck coming soon. Really want to hear Kay and Oneill's take.

The thing is most of my Yankees playoff games are on the Spanish network as my Fubo plan in Mississippi puts that version on. I really don’t mind as I don’t have to listen to some overzealous hyped up announcers remarks that just serve as bulletin board fodder. I may not understand most of what the Spanish announcers are saying but guess what I truly don’t mind.

Ugh DeRosa is so obnoxious. You don't like Jeter/Arod? One day they will lose it and full scale brawl.
