Stanton stealing a base is more impressive than 50/50

Too many Yankees haters in the broadcasting booth. I don’t expect announcers to be pro Yankee but Costas and Smoltz make it a point to prove they are against them.

Put that in the Ohtani thread.

I am glad I don’t have to work any Mbraves games as I would much rather watch playoff MLB baseball. It’s a catch 22 between sleep for work or missing the end of a tight exciting game. I just can’t go to bed with the games outcome hanging in the balance.

This I agree with wholeheartedly seems like they are all stepping up.

It would be great if we didn't have activities or appointments recently where I could stay up and watch the games and then car pool with my wife the next morning and sleep in the car. We just have too much going in right now that Monday is the only day we car pooled and it might be just Monday and Friday next week.

Yes I thought he pitched a great game he gave them more than I expected. He limited the Royals and gave the inept offense a chance to win a game in which they only scored 3 runs. They will need more than that tonight.

Yes being semi retired I can stay up till whenever. When I used to work the 6 am to 6 pm shift for the ambulance company there were plenty of mornings where I found myself saying I should’ve went to bed earlier. It’s not like with today’s coverage you can’t get up and see everything you missed.

It really feels like they were in the wrong roles all year. Like Cole got the closer job because it was his turn rather than that being what he's good at.

It’s not like it wasn’t a big deal as who knows when Stanton’s next stolen base will happen.

I looked up baseball savant, his sprint speed is 3rd percentile. Now I need to figure out who is slower.

Stanton is third slowest from HP to 1B, that sounds about right.

It’s painful watching him get thrown out at first when you know almost anybody else would’ve been safe.

Do we want him back? He's mostly good now-a-days for getting hit by pitch.
