There is, but there's a reason it's the same cards floating around exchanging hands. Lot of flexing and flipping from dudes with maxed out credit cards. There are always exceptions but desperate actions usually result in desperate behavior.

I'm sure many people here are like this, but I like understanding the main income stream from people I deal with for high-end. The more you don't need the money from the hobby, the more likely you are to be honest and candid.

I've been on Veriswap for a few months and the experience has been positive. I just completed a 21Ksh value trade that I am happy with. Their customer service and buyer / seller security level is really good. Now as for higher end cards - that just depends on the seller as always. There are plenty of unprofessonal rude dimwits there too..but that's nothing new LOL. IMO it's best to message a higher end seller and inquire about a card 1st.

Thanks for the feedback. Does Veriswap coordinate with buyers and sellers on every sale, ensuring what the buyer is purchasing is authentic/legit? Or are they only involved when cards are swapped/traded?

They are involved on each and every transaction. Whether you buy / Sell / trade / or do trade with cash - they get the cards 1st - make sure they are legit and what was agreed upon - and then distribute them. Everything is on the up and up and I feel totally safe. The fees for trades can be high but for all cash deals (buying and selling) the fees are much better.

Note: Since fees are a percentage of the trade value you can way lower your cards values to a fraction of the real value once agreeing on a trade with someone. There is nothing in ther regulations / terms and conditions preventing this.

Veriswap is fine for graded/authenticated cards. The people inspecting cards there do nothing for raw cards.

Are you referencing that 2018 Topps Chrome Gold Refractor BGS 10 that some guy listed for 40K on a FB group? A PSA 10 just sold for 15K and a bunch of dudes were commenting how cheap his asking price was. Bunch of losers.

That's definitely one of them. That guy cited the #150 Gold PSA 10 price as a listed comp, but that specific copy is the serial #50/50 copy which usually goes for 2-3x the premium. Comments conveniently turned off too after him and his friends pump the card. I like the admin there, but some of those "trusted" sellers are such predators.

Won't name names, but I gave one of those "trusted" guys a great deal on an auto once and told him I couldn't ship for a few days. He kept pushing me to ship sooner so I bent over backwards to do so, and it turns out he had sold the card to another buyer before he even paid me. The same guy also tried to flex on me and inform me he knows the market better than anyone and i should sell to him for his desired price.

Just be careful guys. Paper tigers and white knights on all the platforms.

Not sure, but it's the same dude who flexes the same 2-3 cards he hasn't flipped yet and posts cheesy thank yous to the admin and group to fish for compliments about himself from the same circle of guys.

There is also a self admitted bi-polar guy that lives with his parents and still randomly texts me that I owe him a deal since I sold him a few cards.

It appears some unredeemed Bowman Mega Autos were inserted into 2022 Topps Chrome Silver Packs:

Thought you might be referring to that thread. Definitely a lot of back slapping among a clique of high-end buyers. The 150 price is insane. And I’ve been surprised at how some of those guys will make a deal on a card that they seemingly love, couldn’t wait for, their grail only to flip it a week later in the same FB group!

Not trying to defend these guys or anything, but a BGS 10 sold in early July for $22k on eBay. $40k would be a huge jump in just 3 months, but some of his cards have doubled in that time frame so...

Hey guys. I am looking at a few possibilities for my next purchase. It's between these. How would you rank them? Thanks!!

1. Topps Chrome Blue Ref PSA 10 - 12K

2. Topps Chrome Gold Wave Ref PSA 10 - 13K

3. Bowman Chrome Ref PSA 10 - 14K

4. Topps Chrome Update Batting PSA 10 - 12K

I vote 3. I'm not a fan of the 2018 Topps Chrome parallels at all so that's just a matter of personal taste.

All four options are major wins though, good luck!

Guess it comes down to what you’d enjoy the most. If you’re focused on getting the most sought after and salable (should you want to liquidate), I’d think that would be no. 3.

What parallel of no. 4 are you referring to? I think the TC Update Batting refractors are going for around $4k in PSA 10.

Love that card. In that case, my personal preference would be:

3, 4, 1, 2

Completely subjective, of course.
