I believe this image is also photoshopped?

Wish the TC Employee auto or the sapphire auto image was the regular auto image because those look great. However, any rookie Ohtani auto is a great one to have.

Just always loved the HR gaze and the "RC" logo placed right on the end of the bat. Personal preference I guess. Plus Topps Flagship Chrome is aways THE card for me RC wise.

Maybe it can change, but for now it’s Bowman Chrome hitting.

I think an image/card becomes iconic when the hobby decides it’s the one. This probably happens for a few obvious reasons, but the card can’t be too obscure, has to have wide appeal and be widely known. Maybe if this image was also used on the base card, it would be “the one.” But I agree with you about RA-SO. Ohtani looks like he’s almost starting to smile at a ball leaving the park. He’s extremely relaxed and confident, and the framing and composition are great.

I see a Judge and an Ohtani turning into a bigger Ohtani, so it's tough to argue. Make sure you understand the back condition of the archives. The edges can be brutal and it's likely raw for that reason.

I too really like the TC image. Overall, however, and I'm likely in the minority here... but I like the BC pitching image the most. I have heard the image described as almost like a graceful crane... and ever since then, I've thought of it as the best image.

Right there with you. The BC pitching is very artistic and mystical looking. Plus the hype around that card was next level.

In the free version, I can’t find the 2018 BC refractor. It recognizes the query but populates no results. Just curious: if you have a pro version, can you see ladder data on the refractors?
