Disagree about their ballpark. It's cool, but I wouldn't ever include them as one of the nicest in the majors. Been there and liked it, but not one of the nicest

Tyson Ross had quite the game going for me, then he got knocked around in the 6th, only gave up 2 runs but a few hits and a walk, and now they're losing booooooo

A terrific game for CJ Wilson today, and I just added him yesterday because Ryu was placed on the DL.

Thanks. I was surprised he hadn't been taken by any teams as of yesterday. It may be because he's not as young as other star pitchers but he definitely has several good years left and he showed a glimpse of that tonight.

I thought about picking him up, but I already made my 1 pickup. Wilson has moments of domination like tonight, then has games where it takes him 100 pitches to get through 4 innings. He is still well worth having though IMO

I dropped him when denard span got hurt. I was actually thinking about picking him up again since he is a two start pitcher this week.

Freeman & Markakis really raked up some points for me yesterday but I'm pissed with myself that I didn't get online in time to take Kinsler off my bench and now he's already put up 7 points for the day

I know that this is completely unsustainable, but here is what my starters have done over 5 starts:

Record: 4-0 (would be 5-0 if Reds bullpen didn't blow Cueto's lead)
ERA: 0.53 (2 ER in 32.2 innings)
WHIP: 0.71
K/9: 9.6
Avg Fantasy Points/Start: 25.8

Now that is some Smokin' Aces!

I legitimately thought we would be able to make a significant step forward this year. Not contending, by any means, but pushing a .500 record. Opening Day was disappointing, but you take away one 3-run inning by the Tigers, and it's a 1-0 ballgame. Take away a few key defensive plays by the Tigers as well (ones that won't be made every time), and you can give the Twins 1-2 runs as well. Entirely different game. That being said, sounds like today's game was a $h!tshow. I didn't see any of it, so I can't speak on individual plays, but looking at the box score, it's pretty pathetic. I'm still a believer that Nolasco will bounce back after his terrible year last year, but 3 innings, 6 runs isn't encouraging. Pretty poor effort from the rest of the bullpen as well. Our bullpen was decently good last year, but looking at today's game... If that's how the pen will be for the full year, it'll be rough.

I seriously don't know why they keep giving Pelfrey chances. Don't get me wrong, I met him at Twinsfest and he was really friendly, nice guy, but he just has never shown that he deserves a spot in the Twins rotation since he has been here. And yet, the Twins keep giving him more and more chances. Really confusing and frustrating.

Carlos Ruiz has been surprisingly solid for me so far this year. Really picked him only to back up Wieters, then become a temporary patch as Wieters is starting the year on the 15-day DL. But, he's given me 2 points a game so far, with 2 tonight and still some time to gain some more. Like it!

Also interesting, even though their teams are playing each other in a series right now, my closers (Hector Rondon & Trevor Rosenthal) have combined for 21 points already after a few games
