Was thinking of trying a group sub on here but its a lot of work and most people on blowout are loving the PSA still. $12 a card doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Minor Yordan collector here. I think he’s a beast and can’t quite understand the lack of love he gets in the hobby.

That being said, there’s a PSA 10 Topps RC of his for sale for $24.99 on ebay right now. How is this possible? $25? I can’t get a freakin PSA 10 Mike Greenwell RC for under $35…

Population is insane for new stuff. That's probably the biggest reason.

You can’t get it graded for less then that, bordering comical that it’s going for such a low price. I guess there’s just so many of em but if I didn’t already have a handful I’d buy…

There are about 8,600 of them, but look at the Acuna card, for example. There are like 19,000 of those and they still go for $150ish. Not saying Yordan is Acuna, but is he 1/7th Acuna for a card that’s more than twice as rare? Seems off to me, as most of the hobby does.

I only have 1 (again, only a minor collector), but have many that are ungraded. I feel like I have to snap this up, right?

The color clash can be irritating, but I try to be selective with what I send to them and what I save for PSA. For example, I would avoid green parrallels in the past. For $25 yea. I have 11 or 12 of them. Definitely my biggest bust of the past 2 years, but ill hold. See what happens.

OK. I pulled the trigger for $25 + shipping, also got a chrome RC PSA 10 for $44. Good? Apparently I’m on a Yordan shopping spree tonight….

Most of them are still selling above $100, but one went a few days ago for $89. Just imagine where they’ll be come November…

I've got one listed for $140 that's getting some looks. I've seen a couple go for $10 more than that at auction

, but if you're patient should be able to get one around $100. There is a seeming endless supply going to auction every night.

I bought up a little bit last year when Series 1 dropped thinking Alvarez was going to be a stud and raw series 1 would be $20.

Well I woke up and impulse purchased a nice Yordan card.

Inception isn’t for everyone (most of the time it’s not for me), but I couldn’t pass up this one.

It was nice to see him crush the ball last night. I’m looking forward to more of the same.

Really like that Inception patch, nice pickup. I don't really have any Inception myself, will need to add one at some point. I find myself adding the cards of Yordan that I missed out on with Tatis.

Here's today's example. Always missed out on this variation of Tatis in 2019 so I wanted to make sure I grabbed one of Yordan.

Nice card. I think the super of this was on Ebay a few months ago at a reasonable price. I remember almost making a move on it. This card looks like one that is really nice for a black SGC slab.

I am so focused on Sterling with Yordan where as my other PC of Soto I collect variety of his rookies. But similarly to your Tatis comment I may start picking up rookie autos in off season on Yordan that Soto would break the budget on.

I was so focused on the chrome rainbow I probably overlooked it, or don't remember. I honestly don't own a single SGC slab. I don't know if I'd like the black on black with this set. Maybe something with white borders.

You gotta deal with the FOMO somehow. Substituting a higher priced player for a lower priced one in your PC chasing the same cards/sets has worked for me for the past year or so switching from Tatis to Yordan.
