Totally agree. I genuinely dislike the 16-17 Silos. The price would have to be rock bottom for me to buy one of them, no matter how nice the patch is.

Thanks man, getting the right shot, is really hard work. Takes time, a combination of right lighting and angle to get a good shot! Plus a good camera.

It's been a little bit, but this is possibly my favorite card that I own. One of my favorite players to watch in the 90s when I was a kid.

Umm, woah. Everything about that card is literally perfect, jeez. I think that design goes really well with the Hornet's colors, and I love the colors and lighting of your scan.

Awful patch, but I got it for less than half the going rate so I'm not complaining.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the 04 Exquisite LL's are the best auto patch set ever made.

I actually replaced that scan with what I feel is one that looks even better. I felt like the original was a bit too washed out by the lighting and didn't give as good a representation of the holofoil.

That Myles is nice. That's one that I've had my eye on a few different times and ended up forgetting about it or bidding too low.

That's the sort of card where you can still feel comfortable about the purchase because the price makes the sub-optimal patch worth it.

Have to show this one off... who loved this guy as much as I did?? Was legit my favorite player right alongside KD all throughout middle and high school. This had to have been a $1k+ card easy back then... but I bought it for a meager $100, and was more than happy to pay that just for sheer nostalgia.

Goes well with my other 2 "dream exquisites" from when I was younger.

Count me in the camp of HUGE Brandon Roy fans. I've picked up a couple of his smaller cards recently out of sheer nostalgia and the cards now being affordable to me. These 2 were purchased in 2017 for pennies in comparison to what they used to sell for...

I've made a lot of pickups like these in the past year or so. Picking up cards now that I couldn't have dreamed of touching 10 years ago is a lot of fun. Here's my big one from the past year. It has been #1 on my wish list for years and I was finally able to obtain it thanks to camthespursfan cutting me a really great deal on it.

I'd love to check out that other scan sometime. I could see what you mean, it's really tough to make the colors vibrant while not washing out things like the holofoil.

Thanks for the compliment, I'm a sucker for patches, and I like the way the color scheme all works together on that Myles. Plus I think Gold Standard cards are beautiful when they aren't sticker autos haha

Here's another one of my below market value purchases. Horrible centering but can't really pass up on it for the price.
