I see this at $200+ a box. Can't compare to OTE or University. Most of those kids will sign for peanuts. To pay guys like Shaq, Iverson, Payton, Hardaway, Garnett, Nowitzki, Hill, Kemp, Kidd, Wilkins, Nash, Vince Carter, Mutombo (by the way, all these guys sign for Leaf high end products too) plus the rest of the checklist is gonna jack the price up whether you believe the checklist is strong or not.

And for those of you that want a stronger checklist, it would cost even more.

As a non-basketball collector but old-time basketball fan, I still have no real interest in good names that are unlicensed.

It would have to be $50 for me to even consider buying.

Great points here. Some of those names are surely pricey

Unless it's going to be $100 or less, I hope it's $200 plus a box so it's a no brainer no buy. I wouldn't have to worry about adding thousands of dollars worth to my already tens of thousands of dollars worth of Topps online exclusive products I can't break even on.

I was a hard no when I first saw the email. After looking at the checklist I am now tempted. A lot of players from the era(s) that I enjoyed. Then again I might be better served buying the singles I desire on ebay. Price point will be the deciding factor for me.

I’m just afraid that they’ll look dumb with the lack of license. I can’t get past Panini baseball products.

Every box "should" get you a complete base set and if the two twitter pics are any indication, print run will be around 10K?

I am going to pass on this if it’s more than $50.

I also passed on series 1 first edition so that means you all should be buying.

Not even going to make any assumptions until I see price.

$150 and less, I'll buy some TBD amount.

Over $150? I'm out.

Just said the same to a friend this morning after finally looking at the checklist. Anything over $49 I’m out. These should absolutely not be much at all, and I’m sure they’ll be more. They remind me of the Trevor Lawrence boxes minus the art cards

These are 18 pack boxes, and I can’t see Topps only changing $2-3 dollars a pack. $100 seems like the sweet spot between cost and market

Im thinking potentially even more than $100. $50 isnt realistic anymore....not for any kind of chrome product with hard signed autos. Even in a declining market of late, just not going to be $50. They are going to milk every last dollar out of this overproduction era.

For me @ $100 I buy 1-2 boxes to sit on as a precursor box to Topps NBA coming back through Fanatics. Anything above that.....completely out.

Yeah I don't see it being less than OTE hobby.

I'd most likely get a Jud Buechler auto and Adonal Foyal refractor - I'm out at any price.

Are these chrome? I thought someone stated they’re not? Maybe I’m wrong tho

No, not from what I've seen which is all head shots.

Original Finest I like. I'm worried these will be head shots.

99%? retired players like Topps Archives. I'll wait until they make it with logos and game action shots which I assume/hope they will do.

Now if it's $50, I'm in but like many assume I think it will be $150.
