For sure, I was a big fan of The Witch and enjoyed The Lighthouse as well. Didn't love The Northman, but it wasn't unwatchable.

These are cheesy but entertaining movies. I've seen both Blood and Honey movies as well as Mickey Mouse horror movie Mousetrap
They made a Banana Splits horror movie in 2019 , similar concept as FNOF
https://surgeonsofhorror.com/2019/12...-splits-movie/

There's also a Popeye Horror movie coming

The first one was OK but I really liked the most recent movie.

You guys wanting to see the latest Nosferatu should watch 'Shadow Of The Vampire'. It came out in 2000 with John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe, it's really good.

Was surprised to find "Smile 2" streaming on Paramount+ starting last night, pretty cool. Just a fantastic performance from the lead in that one, the actress Naomi Scott. Kills were super gnarly plus plenty of jump scares. I liked it even better than the first one.

Is that Speak No Evil free yet? Thought about renting it for $5.99.

If you have Peacock Plus, it starts streaming there on Friday, December 6th.

Not sure how you felt about it but I was disappointed. I liked the first one better, and that's not saying much.

Sweet. Thank you....I've noticed a trend when Amazon knocks down their rentals to $5.99 that usually means it's going to be streaming for free somewhere else sometime soon.

The songs were bangerz. The lead actress actually sang them, and it looks like a promotional 3-song EP was released. Getting Jack Nicholson's son Ray was a good idea, too.

I liked the shot at the end that basically kicked off a zombie-like spreading virus with the Smile demon infecting thousands of people at once. If they went that direction, part 3 could be nuts.

This one (160 million worldwide) did not do as well as the first one (200 million worldwide) and it probably cost a good deal more to make. Even so, I'm thinking the 160m plus streaming is probably enough to put "Smile 3" in the pipeline.

I did not care for it, the last third of the movie "twist" took away from it. Hoping the Speak No Evil remake is good, as I loved the original.

Smile 3 is already well on its way

I think with the ending of Smile 2 it will be hard to keep that story going unless they get totally nuts with it. I will agree though with your point about the lead actress, she was amazing with her singing and she put out some of the best acting I have seen all year.

Watched Speak No Evil tonight. James McAvoy is just fantastic in horror/thriller movies.

Watched Smile 2 tonight. In my opinion, it was um....yeah. I don't wanna spoil the movie for anyone, but I feel there was a hole in the plot.

I also watched Smile 2 last night. Hated it. I kept thinking about shutting it off but stuck with it. I did fast forward through the singing parts though.

The first one was nothing special but I did enjoy it and will probably watch it again some time down the road. 2 was just brutal for me.

Not sure if it counts as horror, more maybe "thriller"...

But the American Psycho remake just cast Austin Butler (Elvis, the Bikeriders) as Patrick Bateman
