What a hit on that Negative!

I actually have always liked the 2018 paper negatives because of the very long odds chase and relative value. Aesthetically speaking I can see why they might be less appealing to some. What a great year to be collecting ball cards!

I did similar calculations for ROI a while back on 2018 Bitcoin versus Ohtani, and Ohtani wins that one too (from an overall market % increase). If you were able to index into rookie autos and high-end, the gap widens even further.

Not really a fair comparison, because you're comparing a single player to the entire stock market. I'm sure if you chose Nvidia, you'd probably be doing just fine.

Plus, everyone in 2021 was buying Wander and Mac Jones lol. That analysis would also be fun.
