You have said that and I agree, but like I said most of them are clueless about that and will try and drag it out --

That is a sellers right. Nothing wrong with a seller doing that. Especially if buyer is being a douche.

Agree there also - these are low dollar cards and mostly time wasters

This is revisiting my ESE for ticket stubs question. I've listed and sold two tickets stubs on eBay with ESE listed as the shipping option. Both times ESE was not an option when I went to print the shipping label. I called eBay and after about 30 minutes I was told that ticket stubs were not eligible for ESE. Has anybody else actually been able to do this?

I have an ESE order that shows as delivered on Friday, Apr 5. The buyer opened a claim today saying it never arrived. Would y'all still refund?

Is the buyer being polite about it, did he contact you prior to filing.....or is the first you heard the complaint from eBay?

You can list it with any shipping method you want....but if it's not an option offered by eBay you will not be able to use that option.

Why does it matter so much to some here if tge buyer contacts first or not? It's irrelevant. If it's after date and you go to ask a question about it if you push as a topic I have not received item a case is automatically opened. Opened claims have zero effect.

I tell buyers to open a claim before I will do anything else.

Unless the included message was rude I would just refund and file tge pip

Could be it's an unsupported category still but I sold a used stup a couple of months and it worked.

What were envelope dimensions? If they were too big tge option will not show

Another possible problem with your sub $20 stub auctions....you mention you will mail in a bubble mailer.....those aren't allowed with ESE.

The particular listings had ESE, not bubble mailer, as shipping. I set up a couple this way to test the system. I leave the package dimensions as 1x1x1 which is supposed to be an optional field.

Some of my college basketball variations listings include cards, schedules and tickets. I select trading cards as the category and I'm then able to ship schedules and tickets by ESE. I'm currently selling a large consignment ticket collection. I figure most potential buyers that have saved searches specific as "tickets".

It was only earlier in this thread that a couple of sellers said you could use ESE for tickets. I've never been able to do this if my listing category is "ticket stubs".

I was talking about some current listings that are under $20 and you have $.64 in shipping costs.....you mention mailed in bubble mailer in the item description.

I'll check it out and correct. I have about 400 tickets I'm slowly listing. After I list one I select "sell similar" to list the next one and then have to make all the changes in title, description, etc. My brain freezes after awhile and I miss stuff!

I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with an eBay agent today to ask the simple question "are ticket stubs eligible to use ESE?". It took that long for him to say no.

I get better information a lot quicker on this forum.

**You are correct. Thanks. I've ended one listing and changed the Michigan Hockey ticket to "trading card" category to use ESE. And deleted "bubble mailer".

In transit from Phoenix 28 days prior, then nothing. That's pretty common for INR items for me.

Yesterday I received a package from the USPS Nixie Clerk. It was four ESE envelopes, all mailed on March 13. The weird thing is, I think only one of the buyers filed for a refund. I'll double check that when I have time next week.

ESE has been vastly improved the last few weeks at least for me. Shipping from South New Jersey. Lots of tracking updates and deliveries.

Is anyone else have trouble with eBay not taking out Neutrals/Negatives for Item Not Received on ESE Orders? I have 1 of each this week that were left that eBay would not take out for orders that weren't received that I refunded in Item Not Received claims. The negative actually threatened it before hand and they still wouldn't take it out, only took out the comment because the buyer said eBay refunded him when in fact I did. Frustrating.

They hve gotten tighter over removing all neutrals and negs in recent months. Did you go through the automated system or direct contact? Does the tracking indicate delivery?

Also with the threat of a neg they no longer will remove them typically if they say they will leave a neg. They have to say if you don't do x I will leave a neg or something and the something has to be something that is not normal or included.

Like if they say if you don't send me a partial refund I will neg you that is removable. However if an item does not arrive and the buyer says refund me or i will neg you they likely will not consider that extortion.

I don't know why the buyer bothers sending a message asking where the item is if they're going to open an INR an hour later? Nothing too bad...it's been 14 days...but why bother with the original message if you don't plan on giving 24 hours for a response?

OK. This one got weird. Buyer escalated the case to eBay within 30 minutes of filing the INR. eBay found me not at fault and refunded the buyer $11. This all happened so quick, it started and finished in the time I ate breakfast and packaged one item from the other store.

ETA: Time stamps from my two posts are 34 minutes apart.

I bought a psa slabbed card <$20 and the tracking uploaded is eBay standard envelope. How normal is that? Anyone have that happen?

I did find a help page that said graded cards are not supported. Who knows what I’m going to receive, or how much postage due it’ll be.

The seller doesn’t happen to be this guy, right?
