Yeah, it's going to remain a relative short list of players with 50 home run seasons to meaningfully pair other stats with, so it doesn't do much for purposes of comparison. There's two new ones this year, but one's a catcher, and the other a DH.

He probably had it locked up on hitting alone anyway, but that extra WAR he gets for those strikeouts virtually assure the MVP award. That's good enough.

I do hope next season he can rev it up to his peak and be a full-time hitter AND pitcher. Imagine the single member clubs he'd establish then.
50/200 absolutely would be a thing.

Speaking frankly, I don't think he ever reaches 50 SBs again in his career....not as long as he's still pitching anyways. I think that was a once in a lifetime opportunity for him (since he knew he couldn't pitch all year). Plus he's a big guy on the wrong side of 30, so limiting pounding his body in the dirt is probably wise long-term. That being said, I think he can be a solid 20-30 SB guy for years to come.

150K as a batter would be a sweet improvement. (173 currently)
150BB would be a huge leap (105 currently)

I will die on the hill saying that I think his 2022 season, where he became qualified as both hitter and pitcher, was Shohei's most impressive season that I don't think he himself will be able to replicate after his second elbow surgery. I know WAR won't support it but it truly showcased Shohei's 2-way prowess. He wasn't able to qualify as a pitcher until the last game of that season and with the way IP is limited for regular SP, getting to 160-170 IP to qualify seems a bit far-fetched especially for a team that will probably need him to pitch in the PO every season.
