I was curious so dug into the PSA auction prices realized data on their site, for the 18 BC base PSA 10. That $3.5k sale was an ebay auction, and is such a crazy outlier I'm assuming it was shilled to the moon.

But there were a few PWCC auctions around summer of 2021 (when they were on ebay), in the $1900 - $2300 range, that appear in their sales data on the Fanatics site, which I believe means they were paid for. While digging on this, ran into this, these two cards sold 4 months apart. Fun times!

First member of the traditional 50-50 club. He's at 49 HR and 49K as a pitcher with 13 games left. Establishing a whole new type of 50-50 Club! Dude is a talented athlete for sure! Fun to watch.

No, he didn't really start hitting bombs until he was traded to the Yankees, and then he only pitched once or twice.

His last year with the Red Sox he hit 29 HRs and had 30 Ks.

90% of my Ohtani PC is ungraded because of this policy. The conflict of interest is wild, especially when they can now offer to buy your new PSA 8 at a discount due to the grade.

Love PSA, but this policy needs a change.

I didn't even go that far into my thought process haha I just comped the cost for PSA at $300 to $400 for dual service is wild. BGS priority even at 125 + 5 for auto grade is a no brainer IMO.

I love SGC but the black on black borders would look wonky. CGC just isn't there yet for sports although I do like their slabs.
