New BGS turnaround time tracker

I had a BAS order delivered on 2/7 and still have not had it marked received. I cannot find my order number anywhere and have sent a message with my USPS tracking number with no response. I sent another BAS order in January and that was checked in within 10 days. Anyone know what to do here?

If you click the submission form you should be able to find your finalized order with number.

BAS finally marked my order as received today after almost a month of waiting.

Fellas, I have some Star Co basketball that I'd like to send to BGS, eventhough PSA now grades. Any sense of their backlog currently? Turnaround times steady? Or just toss the cards in the fire pit!

Very fast, took exactly 5 weeks on Collector's for grades

Only think I had 5 cards auto graded, 4x10's and one got a 9, which shouldn't have. Last time I said I was done with auto grades not sure why I didn't stick to that haha.

Did get 2 signed Ovie RC's graded, one popped as a 9.5 (nice) and other came back an 8.5 (ouch, lol). Not sure what I missed on that one.

Anyways, 2 months total as per usual. Faster then my last PSA dual service submission.

Click on the "job id" in your orders history. You should be able to see the "final grade" Maybe on March 20 or sooner?

Such a big delay in getting the package to when they mark it as received makes collectors such as myself nervous. Why do they do this? These are our valuable assets. Mine show as delivered on March 4th and still waiting on update for it to say received on the website.

My guess is that they can't keep up with their turnaround time and since it begins one day after they marked it as recieved they want delay this process as long as possible

Because that's how BGS rolls. Super slow. People using them aren't in it for the ROI or super fast return in most circumstances. Maybe if they are trying to avoid PSA's upcharge fee but doubtful.

What amazes me is it is such a simple task to scan packages in, mark them received on the website. It's a small task to build a rudimentary tracker on a website (I'm a developer). Something that 1st year CS students accomplish with ease.

It just seems like incompetence at this point

Yea…I’m not in it for super fast turnaround nor are these flip cards, but they are ‘special to me PC Cards’. I just want them to show as received for piece of mind.

I totally get that. So for me you can see my most recent order my tracking shows it arrived at Beckett on 2/16. They sent an email indicating it was received on 2/19. It popped up on my orders page on 3/13, so it sat for 3+ weeks before I saw it populate.

I have never subbed to Beckett, but I prefer their slabs to anyone else's. I think they offer far more protection than any other.

It seems like if they hired more staff and were able to hurry up the process they could return to being the number 2 grader again.

I sent 19 cards for BAS authentication and encapsulation services, majority were ttm autos. They arrived on 2/22/2024 and they shipped 3/18/2024, the service was the 45 day service and beckett was doing a special of $15 per card.
They found 18/19 to be authentic so i am happy with that, looking forward to seeing them in the slab!

I made the sub a couple days prior to USPS confirming it arrived at BGS.

Order delivered per USPS <-confirms my order made it to Beckett
Order received email <-confirms Beckett knows Beckett has my order
Order invoiced email <-this is when people get billed
About to be graded email <-order is in queue
Labels printed <-grading is done, grades are ready and viewable under My Orders and in the pop report. Cards can be added to the registry.
Order shipped email <-Beckett has shipped order back, tracking info is available.
Received back<-Have the graded cards in hand.

I think each step is helpful to know but ymmv in what is and isn't useful to you.

Got tracking today.

Using the most economical option Beckett offered it took about 6 weeks.

Order is cruising through.... 4 of the 5 cards the grades are bang on as expected. 5th one I have no idea WTF I missed. Got hammered on centering again, as usual.

Also of note, Beckett emailed me at every step. Pretty sure that's new, so nice to see consistent updates.
