Some nice hits there, I think the market on Moncada is cornered .

Good to be here Nick, I wondered where you had gone.

Thanks for the info on Tapatalk, I have a problem taking a good pic with my phone but may try it anyway.

Still somewhat of a newbie here. I haven't got any of the different color backs before until this one..maybe? The one on the right seems lighter than all of the other cards I have. Is it the yellow back?

Looks like you have a yellow back.

Interested in Harper 3D if it's available.

I'm new to Heritage

Tried searching this thread for the Rediscover Topps stamped cards, but couldn't find anything on rarity.

Does it go : Silver, Gold, Bronze, Blue, and then Red, as the rarest?

Any estimates on how many of each?

Congratulations! That should spur another 1000 blasters to be sold.

Bronze is the most common, the rest are in the right order.

Default 3 box break

From the case that I posted earlier but don't have pics for came 3 color variations; 6-7 blue borders; 1 traded ; 1refractor /68 and quite a few actions.

Of course the fever was upon me so I ordered 3 more hobby boxes:

The solo rookie variation "action". He's in a White Sox jersey.

Question on the yellow backs. Do the yellow backs only apply to the base cards? Can a color swap have the yellow back?

Highly unlikely but if you post a pic maybe we can help. Make sure to really compare it to the other cards because some of these "yellow backs" may just be printing issues.

EBAY Seller had a yellow back listed but it was difficult to tell from the picture, there was a slight difference. It Came in today and it was a color swap. I compared the back of the sellers card to my personal version of color swap and they look exactly same. Then compared it to a real yellow back and it isn't even close. Sellers are having a tough time differentiating the two.

Just to ease the expectations a bit...

Opened 6 hobby boxes:
0 autos
6 unnumbered clubhouse collection relics
4 advertising panel toppers
2 1968 buyback cards
0 yellow backs
0 grey backs
0 flip stock
2 RC variations
5 action variations
1 color swap
4 chrome refractors
3 base chrome
4 blue bordered

No big names, nothing earth shattering. So yeah, there's an average break.

Not too upset, already hit some nice cards in other rips. Just wanted to share this one since the "bad" breaks rarely get posted about.

Snagged a blaster about an hour ago for S&G's and hit a Correa auto. Cut down on retail and rarely buy it anymore...maybe $2-300 a year so that was nice.

Up to my neck in sorting right now. Donruss, Heritage, S1, Update. Was sorting as I was selling sets so it was time to get caught up.

Not news to most on this thread.. But it is amazing the morph this product has went through

Literally from 2001-2010 ish.. This was 100% set building product... Autos tough. set had some easy variations ... Hardcore nitch product...

Last 2-4 years the boom of action color throwbacks.. and the uptick of psa 10 collecting.. Bringing in the average collector..

Last year the Kris Bryant effect... Is Heritage now the 2nd most popular rc card in the hobby ... Bowman being one...

Helping bring the non auto RC back...

Really interesting ride heritage has been on...

Maybe has to do with star power brought in in the last 5 years...
I don't remember a time this many young great players have come into the league so quickly... Add this with great 60's designs...

Wonder what is next....

Personally I think the Heritage cards are so popular lately is because the other sets are getting too much high tech photoshoppin glossy foil refractorizing.

If people just want a baseball card, you know, an image on cardboard with stats on the back like in the "good 'ol days" what better way to go than Heritage?

Want an auto of the same guy? Ok how about an on card 'graph - no stickers.

Big hits, things to chase, and perfect for set collectors. That's why Heritage has popularity.
