If the standings hold up, it will be odd seeing 3 playoff teams from the usual weak AL Central instead of the AL East hogging all of the Wild Card slots.

Didn’t expect the Orioles to win 7-1. I think Detroit will win at least one as they are still in it. I also think Oakland will win one of the remaining 2 against the Yankees as it seems they hardly sweep series anymore.

Minnesota and Kansas City holding on but Detroit with their pitching is the one that would scare most teams.

Marinaccio always seems like the odd man out. He is not horrible but it is good to have better options.

Volpe started hitting again last night, hopefully a couple of other Yankees join him as Judge and Verdugo need to up their production moreso Verdugo than Judge. I really don’t expect much from Verdugo anyway but Judge needs to start being Judge again. Bookend quiet months does not a great season make.

Verdugo just needs to be on the bench. He's not aggressive, body language is awful, like he's broken. If it's still his hands put him on the DL and let Grisham be the 4th OF.

I do like some signs of life from Rizzo.

It really sucks that the AL MVP has disappeared the last month of the season. I hope he gets it together for the playoffs or he's in for alot of "boo birds" at the Stadium.

Very reminiscent of 2022 but at least he did get the home run record. I agree if he disappears again in the playoffs he will get booed and I can’t say they wouldn’t be deserved.

Well the Detroit vs Baltimore game was a fun watch thought Detroit was going to give it away but Baltimore who tied the game after being behind 4-2 going into the 9th had 2nd and 3rd nobody out but failed to score the winning run. Detroit scored 2 in the 10th and held on to win 6-4. Tonight’s Yankees game will be a fun watch because they are playing with house money. Aaron hitting some homers would be nice though.

He can call a decent game but the days of him throwing out base runners are over. I hate when he is in the starting lineup when just two years ago I used to like it. Nice double play to get out of the first 2-0 Yankees.

Wow this first base umpire is pretty bad today. 2 missed calls and they weren’t even that close. That should’ve been a double play though took Gleyber forever with the transfer.
