Collins wide open under the hoop and solo jacks the 3. Don’t pull a Knicks game 2 and launch 50 3’s, take it to the rim with the big lead.

They aren’t fouling much so why not hit Simmons when he starts going?

He was the best or second best player during the first 20 games or so this season.

He was a big big reason we beat the Knicks in 5.

Great half for the Hawks. 25 for Trae. Hope it continues.

Not the way I expected that game to start. Why Rivers leaves the bench on the court during a 17-0 run baffles me.

id be shocked if Philly wins 2 games this series

everyone still sleeping on Hawks...........they've only been top 3 team in the entire league for the last 3 months

sneaky deep and have just a good enough mix of vets and youth, they are my sleeper pick to make Finals

A great young player no doubt, but clearly less important to this years teams' success than Trae, Bogx2, Collins & Capela.

Full strength, 20 pts behind at half, and hawks have zero chance? Hawks is short-handed with hunter being out too.

What has Rivers ever really done as a coach? Not hard to win with that Celtics team. I think he’s been overrated for some time now.

Still plenty of time for the Sixers. 3rd quarter could swing things if Hawks go cold.

Yeah idk. He’s good at getting teams to the playoffs. 3rd quarter is big.

I like the switch of Simmons full time on Trae but those fouls are adding up.

Game plan was good but came out shooting cold there. Hawks up 22 now.

Physical play to start but surprisingly the young team is handling it

Already gave up on it. Simmons was making it hard on Trae.

If the BO Philly Phaithful are any indication, seems like Sixers were too busy thinking about gameplanning for Bkn/Mil and forgot that they're not there yet... I just got home, left work a bit early to see this. I only checked the score at the half and figured Embiid was sitting.

Bogdanovic still holding thumb on shooting hand, happened on hard screen. Not good.

100% agree.

People sleeping on the Hawks, but since Nate Mcmillan took over, they have been excellent defensively.

And I feel like we are watching Trae young become a superstar. He's unfazed by the spotlight and isn't afraid to take the big shot. I was worried about his size, but he is legit. It's going to be fun watching him and Luka over the next 10+ years. The 2018 class is strong. BUY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Philly: Embiid is a beast when he is healthy. But that's the problem. He's just too fragile. And I'm sorry Philly fans, Simmons has no offense from 15 feet out, which in today's NBA is just too much of a liability.

First game over reaction: Hawks in 6.
