Is there not a strong correlation between poverty and crime? Poor people don't deserve to live in nicer areas than they currently live in just like I don't deserve to live in a nicer area than the one I currently live in. My wife and I work hard and afford the best that we can until we can save and afford better, like we did before we bought our current home. It scales up and down both ways. I don't deserve a mansion on a lake because I haven't earned a mansion on a lake. It's supply and demand. Nice areas that are clean and safe and all the other perks that come with it cost more.

If people who are poor deserve to live in my area, then why don't I deserve to live next to Bill Gates? Where do we draw the line?
