I mean, sure that was a crazy time. But that's 3 or 4 different stories.

The furor caused by absent RC SP's, basically the reason why this release was supposedly decent vs terrible, is MUCH more impactful to collectors TODAY, as in they lost a lot of money went that into Topps, Distros, breakers and LCS's pockets. TODAY. Based on false information.

This is just the beginning. Glad I'm diversified into NFTs as well. These shenanigans as well as all the others that manufacturers have been involved in lately is showing just how unstable this hobby currently is.

If they made them (and they did) there's no way they aren't going to sell them because they know somewhere, someone will buy them.

They can't sell them because there are a lot of prospects on the checklist that share the same checklist with veteran players.

This would make them all rookie cards, according to Beckett and many collectors' definitions.

Then they wouldn't be able to hype a bunch of prospects when they get called up to the majors and say "look here's their rookie card in this upcoming release!" because it would have been in 2021 Bowman Heritage already. Same scenario with 2021 Bowman's Best and why some RC logo lovers bash it like it's their full time job.

So they will never release it. And they wish you would stop talking about it too.

Bad enough that 5 years worth of prospects had rookie cards in 21BB. If they released 21 Bowman Heritage another 5 years worth would be off the table for them.

They have to have something to slap a logo on for logobois to drool over and preorder product.
