Congress will not pass term limits. We need a national referendum. The voters would pass it easily.

President Donald Trump – SUPPORTS. President Trump is a term limits supporter, having first come out for the idea in October 2016. Trump specifically endorsed the U.S. Term Limits (USTL) Amendment of three House terms, two Senate terms and no longer limit. Since becoming president, Trump hasn’t discussed the topic very often. Apart from convening a single meeting on term limits in April 2018 and sending a supportive tweet about it, Trump hasn’t been proactive. Watch video on Trump’s term limits position here.
Agree with Timmay that congress will never pass it. It's a cushy gov't job that not many will want to give up. Which is another reason to vote pretty much everyone of them out.

That's my no research or evidence prediction. Trump/Obama if Trump wins in 2020. The GOP would become the party of Trump if he wins again. I think deep down a lot of the GOP hate him, but they see him as a means to an end. They can get a lot of stuff done since he is widely popular in the party.
I doubt the GOP would have another "trump like" candidate run but anything is possible I guess.

A lot of the reason he won in the first place is that the majority of sensible people who are either center-left / center-right are sick and tired of the PC crap that has gone way overboard in the last few years combined with a growing anti-establishment sentiment. It was the perfect storm for Trump to win.

This says a lot. We all know Trump is big on hyperbole and sarcasm. I believe it's part of the "15,000+ lies" he's told.
Sure 15,000+ lies if you believe every time he's being sarcastic and hyperbolic.
Thankfully there's plenty of rational folks who can tell the difference.

Sanders has always been the candidate that worried me the most. I believe he can bring enough people to the polls to come close to beating Trump.
Hopefully there's still enough Democrats that won't vote for him and his socialistic views that it won't matter.
I tend to believe that if it's anyone else but Sanders the Sanders flock sits out the election and Trump wins easily.

If/When Sanders wins the nomination I'm absolutely going to reorganize my portfolio. If Sanders somehow manages to win an election the market is going to crash hard and fast. I'd rather sit on mostly cash and leave some money on the table than risk my portfolio being cut by double digit %

Stocks are down based on the media talking about the pandemic coming.

Well thats the whole thing right? People want to make it sound like there is just all this support behind Bloomberg but there isn't. If you want to say who is on the dems side whose campaign most looks like trumps from 16, its Bernie. The support behind him is getting to Trump levels of support.

So will enough life long Dems want to get to the polls to support the man? Time will see, but I doubt it. Will really be relying on the young and minority vote. Bernie isnt going after Trump voters but needs to get all the people who historically voted Dems to show up. Not sure that is happening

It was not a shock he won in Nevada. The "correction" for Bernie is already happening. He is looking like he is going to be the nominee.

This. Once it gets to China we are going to have real issues.

I don't like either choose but socially one side I lean too but fiscally I lean towards the others. More times then not I can justify my hit to my pocketbook for what I feel is the betterment of my whole country(whole rising tide thing) but this time I dont think that will be the case.

I don't disagree, but nobody can tell when he's joking or when he's not because he's blurred the lines.

I know YOU think you can, but you don't know the guy or know whats in his head. We all (me included) ascribe things to Trump with that we think he actually means. Some people still believe he's getting rid of Obamacare, deporting more illegals than Obama did, building a wall, etc...

Do I think he'd try to flip the system into some 3rd term type of nonsense?
No, I don't think so.

Do I think that if he did want to go that route that he'd have a hefty backing from a good portion of the country? Yes, I do.

Has he blurred the lines of what is and isn't true, or what is or isn't believable? Absolutely.

If I'm in doubt on who to vote for in state and local elections, I always go against the incumbent.
