Yeah I see your point. I just come from the standpoint that I’m not interested in selling wax unless the profit margin is a no brainer. For all we know, these boxes could be $200 down the road. Who knows. I’m keeping mine sealed and see what happens

I see your point too. And I’ve learned from past experience that it’s worth sitting on quality wax long-term for the best margins.

It’s all based on one’s circumstances. You and I have been in the hobby for years and have been able to reap many benefits from it that have put us in a position to take on larger risks (e.g., holding expensive wax longer).

But imagine getting recently involved in the hobby and paying for boxes with CC (without any means to immediately pay it off with money in the bank). Threshold for risk would be a lot lower and plays would be more short-term.

And if one’s circumstances were already good, they’d probably be preordering and/or loading up on higher quality products, etc.

These were great PC pieces until this new price increase. I am kind of glad they didn't have a Tigers Auto edition.

Yeah, the new setup sucks. No bulk discounts For the non auto sets, and you are getting stuck with a big up charge for the auto sets.

I was able to use the code but only checking out as a guest and not in the account. Not sure why it is not working while in the account.

I think "value" is in the eye of the beholder. You just have to buy the right ones. This is the base autograph.

I like them and look for them a good bit and have found they generally sell at or above comparable pack pulled autos especially for the lower-tiered players. Bargains on them are few and far between. I don't think this will be true of Wander auto rookies, but in general these do well. Of course, they are somewhat expensive to purchase directly as well.

If I sold mine at $500 on eBay, my profit would be $4.50 after fees and figuring $8 to ship it.

That's not even enough for a couple McDoubles and a Coke.

Mine were $424 apiece with the free shipping.

I’m curious why it matters to so many people what others do with their cards and money. always calculating other peoples profits.

I will add, unfortunately a lot of people that sell at a break even price are gaming the system. If prices stall they have a free roll as they have a break even sale. If prices boom they cancel and relist. Bad business but that’s the angle some are playing when they presell.
