I love the TCU numbered parallels. The long pack odds alone make them super hard to hit. The overall quality of the product in 2022 was one of the worst ever with the condition issues galore. This has led to a relatively small rip rate so far = even harder to locate.
I haven’t looked at prices so can’t comment on the value compared to the other cards above. A decently centered blue is an absolute show stopper IMO, like the one pewe brought home recently.

My search for a nice 2022 JRod has so far come up empty. Looking for one of the beauties being discussed.

Man, gems on TCU are gonna bring a premium.

Looks like the first few bass 9s are fetching premiums. After looking at a few dozen or so I see why.

yea, not many are opening TCU due to TCUS

and the ones that are, seem to be collectors

I think that the greens get a lot of undeserved grief. Green is the background color of baseball and featured in every stadium (grass). As such, green works well for any team.

I think a big reason is that the greens were shunned initially was that they showed up in retail products that most 'real' collectors shun. Now it is because the values are down because of said shunning.

Anyway, please keep not buying greens because I like them, particularly sapphires or shimmers.

And since it was a more recent sale, this more accurately reflects the current market and demand.

The beauty of multiple comps is some sellers listen to them... but the market is a range, I just won't pay at the top of the range. Means I won't own every card, but I certainly own enough to be happy

I've ripped 2 TCU hobby boxes and 3 TCU mega boxes....and I'd strongly advise against ripping it. Shoot, I'll happily state that BB21 offers a significantly better ripping experience than 2022 TCU.
