He's just mad that Mahomes is already better than Brady. Post-Covid really did something to people. No one cared about Brady up until 2020 - that's the truth. Manning was better than him, Rodgers is better than him, and now, so is Mahomes. I'm really not getting the obsession with Brady. A great IQ QB in a great system, but dinked and dunked his way into NFL lore. No real arm strength, decent accuracy, and zero ability to make a play outside of the pocket. Boring! There are 15+ QB's I'd rather watch before I'd watch Brady.

You know who had a better arm and more athleticism than Brady?

Jamarcus Russell.

The QB position is about so much more than physical attributes. Composure, leadership, toughness, preparation. Brady is a prime example of that. So is Mahomes IMO.

Just saw that my old flawless 3 color RPA 9.5 went for 28k on Goldin two days ago. Damn. I sold it this summer for 48k. That card was once approaching 75k and once sold for 120k in a PSA 10. I bought it pre pandemic for 14k. Some of these NT prices too. Everything is just coming way way dow down

It's across the board, no matter the player.

I can't even imagine what guys like Zack Wilson, Trey Lance, Cade Cunningham, Lamelo Ball, etc are doing now compared to where they were at.

You will never be able to recover from that beating Brady put on him when it mattered most 2-0 in playoffs including a beat down in the Super Bowl. Keep in mind he did throw more passes than anyone ever.

His yards per attempt was the lowest since 2002.

-We don't always see things eye to eye
-We have differing takes
-I think he rates certain players much different than the way I do

But it's always respectful debate, and things don't get personal.

I hope more people can learn to be like that.

Agreed. This is the reason I enjoy this forum. I enjoy the thoughtful and intelligent takes. Allows me to make more balanced decisions on the cards that I buy….

In 5 years, Mahomes has been to 3 SB's, won 2 MVP's, 2 All-Pros, and is considered the superstar QB of the league.

In Brady's first 5 years, he won 3 SB's. That's great, but no one at that time thought he was a GOAT QB; it was Belichick and his system. Hell, he won a SB while throwing 1 TD the entire playoffs! Plus, there was the "Tuck game" and Viniteri coming through twice to win two SB's. I just get sick of revisionist history. Brady's no doubt a great QB who did incredible things. He also had a ton of things go his way. The cherry on top of it all was him winning in TB, but go back and look at that defense - the Mahomies know - that D was STACKED at every level, holding one of the best offenses we've seen to 9 points and stopping the Packers 2nd half comeback after 3, count them, 3 second half picks by Brady. But I digress....

Manning, Rodgers, Warner, Favre, Mahomes - I enjoy watching QB's with cannon arms who are also pinpoint precise (Manning's arm wasn't as big as the other 4). That's just me though. I understand others love to watch Brady play.

Don't worry, Hellcat, my words on some obscure forum no one knows about isn't going to tank your PSA 5 Championship ticket. Plus, I have more Brady cards than Mahomes!

I am biased, but I don’t know how you bet against him. Goes to the intangibles that made Brady great. Regardless of the score, your coaches and teammates always feel they are going to win the game. Just put it in his hands and good things will happen.
