Does anybody know how PSA considers wet ink transfers/ghost images on vintage? does this detract from the grade, mk designation or ????

I too have some information to add for grading. I am compiling a list of every grading company that has been around. Here is what I have so far:

Here is a direct link to just the list of companies - http://www.mr715.com/files/Cards/GradingCompanies.htm

Most likely ignore or mark. Red ink on 1933 Goudeys might get ignored or grade reduced, while ghost player images and the like might get MK qualifiers.

Has anyone notice if PSA grades more favorably for a collector club member vs. not? Currently have an order in; and any up charges would be the same for a member vs. non member correct?

At 200$ a year, with barely any sport specials, long lead times, kinda makes more sense to either pay the 25$ per card, or sub through game stop; or just pause for 6-12 months.

I typically would grade ~80 cards a year, so the 200$ pays for itself after like 40 cards.

I have an 2018 Ohtani #700 gold /2018
3 of the 4 corners have some white. Do y'all think I should grade it
Or keep it raw?
I have never graded a card before, btw.

I have a 2018 ohtani Topps with the Topps logo missing. Would PSA grade it?
Or should I send it to someone else?

Would you be happy with a PSA 5, 6, or 7? If so, grade it. If not, you can request they encapsulate it as AUTHENTIC if it doesn't hit the grade you want. Just include that information on your order form and a sticky note on the cardsaver.

PSA will grade it as either AUTHENTIC or with a number grade, but will not make note of missing foil. Other companies like Beckett and maybe CGC will declare that to be a variation. PSA and SGC are now owned by the same company, so SGC will be unlikely to grade it as a variation either.
