Brother got some more cards in. We found another wicked awesome color circle refractor set. This one's got square pattern of iridescent things, or something, I guess. They're different and definitely ballin. Check these sh**s:

The Starring Role and Thrill Seekers are top shelf stuff, but those Row 0 Legacy cards, WOW!!!!!!!! The pattern on those is outstanding and the way the photograph lights up that rainbow blows my mind! They must be REAL nice in hand, may have to pick one of them up in the future.

One hell of a set/collection there, seriously, that's a lot of heavy lifting.

nice stuff ballin. hey you guys no how much i love showcase, and 95-96 especially because it was a large set with lots of players (a real snap shot of the nba) not just stars. so in my boredom waiting to find cards lately, i have to confess i have strayed from the light of basketball and picked up 95 flair baseball (430 cards) and 95 flair football (220 cards) and they are beautiful too. couldn't help it the devil made me.

ok back/to back broke down and bought 1997-98 tracy mcgrady /500 row 0. didn't want to price to high but had to when the legacy card sold for $177. knew then wouldn't get cheaper soon. guys i need major help , you know who i mean, still short , jordan, abdur-rahim,stoudamire,a. hardaway,rodman,kittles,d.anderson. thats seven for anybody counting. its going to be a long time, pray for me.

I would LOVE to chase this set, but in addition to the Kobe, Jordan and Duncan being so expensive, some of the cards, especially the ones you are still seeking are so difficult to find. Crazy how they just never show up.

Takin pictures of ballin sets has turned into my brothers thing. Careful, this one might blow your ti*s off:





I've been trying to get a grasp on it, but from what I can gather, Topps was making iridescent cards instead of so called "refractors" with Finest. I guess the term refractor just stuck with the hobby.





I don't know if anyone understood my point on "The best Picture I ever took" thread, but only when you diffract iridescent materials can you achieve the entire rainbow of colors as is the case with the PMG and Row 0 sets.

Tis a postcard from Topps before product release to distributors, balla. This set was the beginning of the "90's insert craze".

I am working on the 1988-99 Fleer basketball set in PSA 9. I am at 8/132 and I have yet to decide if I am going to do the stickers or not.

My thought process is to pick up the more costly ones first in case I decide to not complete the set or lose interest. I am also picking up the ones that I just see as a good deal or figure might be hard to find. I have a few somewhat costly family commitments in the next week so I will be stuck at 8/132 until I get paid again (a week from today). There is no hurry and I want to enjoy doing this.

Anyway, I have zero of these in hand. However, the eight that I have purchased are as follows:
17 Michael Jordan
20 Scottie Pippen RC
43 Dennis Rodman RC
85 Charles Barkley
115 John Stockton RC
122 Byron Scott All-Star
127 John Stockton All-Star
132 Checklist

Basically, I have the Jordan All Star card and the Reggie Miller left in terms of expensive cards. I have the checklist out of the way and I figured that would be a difficult card to find (you know, back then they actually used checklists as checklists).

Then I see you got the UD Game Jerseys patches and jersey autos. They're all #21 too. I always wanted an example, in hand, of anyone from those 00-01 game jerseys. How do they look?

I had that 03-04 Finest Ndudi Ebi base Rookie Auto /499(?) at one point in time. I see you've got the KG Gold Refractor Jersey, jersey numbered 21/25. Now your collection is just bringing back terrible memories.

I didn't know By the Numbers had jersey and patch versions. I honestly have never even seen a lot of these sets before. Loving the Blue Die-cut Power Game card. Classy.

That fly2k stuff is pretty cool. Dunno what odds they came at but I just chipped away at them. Funnily enough I have no red /350 versions. There's a guy in Japan with another 21/25 and another 21/100 but he wants $100's for them.

The 00-01 game jerseys/patches are sweet cards - Loved those old full bleed cards... In another collecting life I'd have put them all together, especially the patches. I know some guy did somewhere...

I didn't know Chinese Gooseberries came from New Zealand. You learn something new every day. I think the last bit of fruit I ate was a pear back in the fall of 1992, but maybe I'll start grabbing some Kiwifruits to drive that demand up for you guys a little.
