I have received a few questions in regards to the Case #1 delayed pick. I want to be fair and give time to make a pick. We didn't have a rule for time allowed to pick but there could be something that forces us to make a choice. There is still a good month till the break.

Nothing is going to be done without a majority vote and approval by a mod. I just wanted to get some feedback in the event that we had to do something.


A. My suggestions are take the slot after a given time and see who wants it. If more than one person wants it after a 24 hr time period is given. We will then random the names and the first person on the list gets that slot for the price that was paid. Refund will be given to the person who lost the slot.

B. Same as above but we let the interested parties bid on the slot for 24 hrs. Highest bid wins. Anything bid over the original price will be given back to all slot holders in that case.

C.We move everyone up one slot and place the person who hasn't made the pick into the last slot.

Not in a hurry, delays are expected. I am anxious to make a pick just like others, im sure. I think we give them some time as you said and I think option A is fair. Person gets money back and everyone else below that pick gets a fair chance at getting the slot

If it would ever come to this, I would say move everybody up,refund the original spot, And random off the last teams hits to the ones with no hits..I think this would be the fairest way to go but thats just my opinion...

Oh yeah we have time, But Bigmon and I were discussing this. If there was ever a need to do something like this there should be something in place..I saw a break thread the other day when the rules changed and a few got upset... If it can happen usually it will...lol

give Cincy his time; people do have lives on the weekend.like I said earlier, he could be at the Bengals game.Nobody else in this break would want their slot taken away from them if they happen to be away for a couple days.People need to relax or don't get in a break that does a draft.

If 24 hours passes.....let the next people in line make their picks. The individual who missed their pick due to the delay can jump in at anytime to make his selection. For example, Say Cincyboy doesnt pick after 24 hrs....then SaintsFan would be on the board. After SaintsFan and the next two people in line have made their selections, Cincyboy remembers about the group break and wants to make a selection. He could be allowed to make his selection at #12 and the draft would resume as normal. Nobody loses out except for the individual who delayed the draft. And even then, they could potentially only drop a pick or two in the draft draft order. Does that make any sense? Personally, I think this would work best.

I don't think that would be fair. What if the team he wanted was picked next. Then he ended up with something he didn't want when the pick could have been his.

As I have said there is plenty of time I was just wondering if we got real close to the deadline what would be the best way to handle. I am sure he will make a pick soon. It's not going to make the cases get here any faster.
