Hobby boxes still available. I keep putting a couple boxes in my cart for a fun rip but I just can'r pull the trigger for some reason.

Very cool. Bobby lives not far from me. A local Philly suburbs boy who even owned a Bowling Alley and Ice cream shop in the area too. I remember him signing autographs many times at the local Philly shows when I was younger.

Agreed!

On a side note, back in the mid-to-late 80's, Mr. Shantz was one of the first,...ttm autos that I ever sent-out/received! For all of the SHHHHHH, we give Topps/Fanatics for the sus things they do, it's cool to see them do, this.

How much was Topps selling Jumbo boxes for - I looked through the thread, and it looks like someone said $200. Just trying to verify. Thanks!

They were $199.99 for Pre-Order; I'd assume $229.99-$249.99 at release (unless its my LCS, it will probably be $350 there)

This is interesting. Having rookies be in the style of 52 Topps, and the only time they ever will be. At first I thought the base cards were gonna be in the 52 style, but I think they're just SPs.

You really think Topps can not use the 1952 design for the entirety of these players careers? I doubt it.

Fanatics doesn't care.....they will likely have flipped Topps to private equity at some point in the next 5-10 years, if not sooner.

Maybe they know all the rookies will be scrubs and will be out of the league by the time they recycle the design again in a few years.....
