You got a blue foil as well… I don’t really care for the holofoils, but I really like the addition of the regular color foils.

After abandoning the traditional black parallel in ‘25 Update, Topps has restored it in ‘26 Series 1. So that makes the card shown below (not mine) Kurtz’s first Topps black. Yes, he has a black foil, a black holofoil, and a black diamante in Update, but those are different cards.

Being how revered the black parallel is, does this card carry more significance because it’s Kurtz’s first black? (Of course, this only matters if Kurtz becomes a top-tier superstar.)

He’s a risk for sure, especially at his current prices, but I feel like he’s a risk worth taking. One or two nice Kurtz cards wouldn’t be the worst thing you could do with your money this off season.

Trust me every player is a risk early on wander, lux, etc etc. Being a tall lefty that had 20/10 vision. I see an elite bat in the big Amish am hoping he further develops the rare high power/average…plays out in 2026. Plus he was born and raised a county west from me in Pennsylvania. Have fun collecting!!

I believe Finest had his first RC logo cards, but yes, his Flagship RC is in ‘25 Update.
