My guess is he's already been mentioned already ITT, but in case he hasn't - Phil Plantier. I was surprised to see he even played as long as he did, as I figured he was done as quickly as Kevin Maas.

I spent $4 on a 1991 Studio Phil Plantier rookie in 1991. Lost it all.

Don't think I saw these mentioned in the thread....Miguel Andujar and Blake Rutherford had some pretty high prices...initially.

Not Exactly a prospect but as an Os fan none hurt worse than the downfall of jonathon schoop. he started slow his first year, then came out with a 6.5 WAR season at age 25, only to be out of baseball 5 years later. It was a crazy drop too. It was just like he forgot how to play. No clue what happened.

Jordan Groshans for me. 12th pick in the 2018 draft - I probably have the single largest personal collection of him - he was my 'all-in' guy who was supposed to pay for my kids' college lol
