Hollywood needs more Terrrifier 3 box office returns, $2 million to make and brought in almost $100 million.
That turkey Snow White(aka Lord Farquaad And The 7 CGI Abominations) COST $2.4 million PER MINUTE to make... |

What did you think of "Snow White" when you saw it?

I saw it. There were other people there, too.
It was fine. I have not, and will never watch Tiktok videos. Now that you've been caught telling a lie, do the right thing and suspend yourself.

Obviously I didn't mean it literally. A few people have seen it. I still believe most of them were the only ones in the theater when they did. But this movie is kind of like the whole if a tree fell in the forest and nobody was there would it make a sound kind of situation

Again, how would you know that if you haven't seen it?

Yeah, I mean, it's become a bizarre fetish for them at this point.
As I said before, right after I saw the movie, Zegler (not "Ziegler", average review bomber) as Snow White is a good actor and she sings well. Gadot as the evil queen is absolutely gorgeous, but is not the best singer, which hurts her songs. The CGI is fine, including the dwarves. The story moves along a good pace, and was never sacred, so any changes made to it in the hopes of appealing to a wider audience is no big deal. At all. It's not a great movie, but it's not a terrible movie. It's somewhere in between. People who spend all day giving 1-star reviews anywhere they can to a movie they haven't even seen are suffering from underlying issues Disney could not have possibly have caused. Time to let it go, my dudes. Let it go.

Well they like to say stuff like "go woke go broke" and want to feel like they are canceling Disney. Meanwhile Moana 2 made a BILLION.

They do the same thing with DC and Marvel comics.
There are crowd-funded "content creators" who constantly bash DC and Marvel Comics claiming those companies will be out of business any day now, punishment for their crime of featuring anything other than white men as heroes in their comics (despite the fact that white male heroes are still prominently featured in the vast majority of their comics). But good news, angry bois! Lucky for you, some of these guys just happen to be selling a single comic book they wrote in the style of the good 'ol days with no icky girls and just the one skin color for good guys, same as it never was. And best of all? It's only 40 bucks! Never mind that those guys publish the one $40 comic a year (if even that often, while additionally selling the rubes overpriced keychains and caps) even as Marvel and DC keep putting out 100+ new comics out, collectively, each and every month, usually priced at $4 each. I get why the con men who make money from propagating this nonsense do it. It's just hard to figure out why so many others are willing to do it for free.

Just saw the Looney Tunes movie "The Day The Earth Blew Up" which features Porky Pig and Daffy Duck. I was hoping a few of the other classic WB cartoon characters would show up, but nope, pretty much just Daffy and Porky. The same guy does the voices for both characters and he's been doing it for a while now, so he has them down, especially Daffy. Nice animation, with a good story, and plenty of gags that landed. 8/10
While not the kind of movie I normally see at the cinema, I've got some nostalgia for the Looney Tunes movies (usually made of mostly compilation material) that played in theaters in the 70's as I remember my dad taking me to a couple of them when I was a kid, this one, in fact, at this theater in particular:

I haven’t been to the movies in probably 9 years but I am looking forward to Mission Impossible. They can be hokey at times but the action is entertaining.

They have their own stuff to do, and remember, it's "Zegler", not "Ziegler".
OK, real good, bye bye.

F*** Disney for charging $55 for the new 4K release of Tombstone. Reeks of death merchants trying to capitalize on Val Kilmer’s death. Never before have I seen a 4K priced so highly that wasn’t some super special edition like the 6 disc Apocalypse Now set.

Be glad they still make them at all.
Eventually it'll only be boutique labels like Shout Factory and Criterion Collection who make actual discs, and their special editions have always cost more. You'll be happy to know that despite its recent increase in price, I won't be selling my Val Kilmer autograph card (from the Cryptozoic "Psych" set). I like it where it is, in a binder page with Willem Dafoe and other esteemed actors. I have David Lynch and David Bowie autographs, too, and didn't even consider selling them when they died, same with Stan Lee, Bill Paxton, Gene Wilder, Leonard Nimoy, and on and on. On the other hand, what an amazing thing these signed cards are, cherished mementos easily held enabling one to honor their favorite entertainers, tiny monuments to last forever, something these gifted people actually touched and wrote their names on! Bids now being accepted on all of the above. I have to go to work now, which is not trading card related. Wack.

False. They rarely if ever cost more than $55. Anora for example is being released on 4K by the Criterion Collection later this month and it’s $34.99. Monkey Shines is the next Shout Factory/Scream Factory release I believe and it’s $32.99.

You must have a pretty nice collection of movies. I'm going to start a thread at some point, hopefully this summer, for classic VHS, dvd/bluray, and the fancy newer stuff, so hopefully you and others will post some of your favorites.

I wish I still had some of my old VHS tapes mainly for display purposes even though I dont think many are worth much.

I definitely will. There a lot of good stuff still being made, for sure.
Certain VHS horror titles, for instance, the original first editions of Halloween (MEDA), Killer Klowns From Outer Space (VESTRON), and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (WIZARD) in the oversized box can still command pretty good sums. And there seems to be a solid market for factory sealed examples of popular 80's movies that still have lots of fans, like Back To The Future.
